Well, in the regular season, LeBron shot 48% from 10-15 feet and 37% from 16-3 point line. Those are pretty damn good shooting numbers, actually. His 36% from 3 is solid, too. Better numbers than Kobe, I might add

Outside is medium and 3 point rating which LeBron has pretty decent percentages from.

I'm a Rockets fan. 2k stop overrating Kevin Martin he can't defend himself from a cold. Seriously 2k overrates his and Melo's defense every year, they're horrible defenders with Martin being even more putrid than Carmelo.

Inflation
what about Tyson Chandler, defensive player of the year with 77 rate? LOL
even Ibaka 81
not everyone was increased

This x1000

2K just wants 'stars' like 'Melo to have the highest rating possible as it fits their reputation. It's incongruous with reality but as long as 'Melo's scoring, nothing will change.

Deron Williams defense is overrated as well as his Defensive Efficiency was on par with Steve Nash (who we all label a horrible defender) this past season. Then again 2K systems to believe Nate Robinson (all 5'7 being generous) is a good perimeter defender.

IQ rating makes no sense when JR Smith is given a B-

Great find. I really wanted to know more signature skills for players and this really helped.

you guys only have 2 players rated higher than knicks players lol in what world do you think the nets 5 are better than the knicks 5, and thats only off 2k ratings.
Bold doesn't add up, lol.

In all seriousness, I like the look of the Knicks on paper opposed to the Nets.

Also somewhat satrisfied to see signature skills were not taken too far out of context. I'm glad Granger only has Deadeye. Can't truly pinpoint another signature skill that really illustrates his game style.

I do agree with the people who say Bosh is too low. Bosh is a top 5 PF in the league. He should have a rating of at least 85, especially with how inflated all the ratings are.

Yep, you're right. Deron shot badly, too; though I think that's more because he was playing on a team whose second option was Kris Humphries. :P But yeah, defensively, the whole team was bad and I don't see us improving much on that end of the floor this season, either. Joe Johnson is a big body and an average defender, so that'll help us on the perimeter (we couldn't stop 3 point shots for **** last year), but our interior defense will continue to suck when Reggie Evans isn't on the floor. Brook Lopez isn't deserving of an 80.

Still, I'm a bit of a homer, so I'll keep my mouth shut.

In seriousness I'm not phased by these ratings. The season will dictate the ratings for the most part anyway. I'm guessing a lot of these are projections too.

How does a guy who's been on a lottery team for the past 2 years get Closer???

Also...anyone else think they were a LITTLE generous with Finisher? I'm curious to see how many other people have it...because that's already a lot. I understand why some people have Finisher, but still.

You're a honest man and I respect that LOL. Honestly I don't think Lin should even be as high as he is, and Chandler Parsons is definitely one of the better defenders in the league even if it was just his rookie season. He can't hit a free throw to save the entire state of Texas but it is what it is though lol.

He's not a high volume scorer, no, but he sure can pick his spots. Chandler led the league in FG%, which is testament to his efficiency. Not to mention his offensive rebounding; he collected 11.8% of all offensive rebounds when he was on the floor. That's pretty incredible.

To put it all in to perspective, Chandler produced an average of 130 points per 100 possessions when he was on the floor. That's insane.

Chandler's defensive abilities are well documented. The Knicks were 5th in defensive efficiency this year - that's all that needs to be said.

C'mon, dude, I love our Nets, but there's no way Lopez is an overall better player than Tyson Chandler. I won't even entertain such a thought until Lopez overcomes his anemic rebounding efforts.

Still no love for the Blazers

Yeah, I think the Rockets will struggle next season, offensively, especially if Lin can't limit the TOs, aha. Solace, however, can be found in the defensive capabilities of Parsons and Asik. Seriously, Asik is a freakin' monster. In only 14 mpg, he still managed to average a block, which equates to a 5% block percentage. Machine. He also only conceded 92 points per 100 possessions. I think he should be rated low 70s. His offensive game will come to him... hopefully. He's a product of the Thibodeau system, so you know it's high quality goods
