Funny most of the post are more of debating about player's rating.

To add up, melo is just great now but will be back to his old ways come playoff time. So no need for boost.

Paul george is slowly becoming the face of the pacers and i guarantee he will be a star someday.

A weekly update should be provided with every team getting updates or downgrades.

2K has no structured system or routine that's from a player's realistic outcomes.

All updates should be predicated from a 2-4 games span and release it every weekend.

Unless a player stats have dramatically changed after weeks of playing only consistency, hot spots, and tendencies really is the only thing that should change weekly.

It is impossible to keep accurate stats on every player based off how they play in a few days.

Why was Brook Lopez lowered even though hes having the best season of his career? He's the best scoring 5 in the league, improved his mid range and posting a career high in shot blocking.

I stepped back for month and now I see these updates again with the injury ratings and so on. I really don't see a point putting injured players to the injury rating since it's video game, they really should focus on other aspects rather than making the game feel like they control who I want to play with.

Anyone saying Carmelo needs a boost is a fanboy. He's the same player, with less assists, on a better team. Jason Kidd, Chandler and (I hate to say it but) JR Smith are the main reasons that team is as good as it is. Melo is still the same, overrated player. No D, bad shot selection, ball stopper.

Ed Davis needs an upgrade though. Bargnani needs a decrease. Jose needs an edit, as does DeMar, Fields (too high), Pietrus (too high), Ross, Kleiza... basically the entire Raptors roster.

This is the same with almost every non-glamour team in the NBA. Stop editing the same teams and stars and start paying attention to the ENTIRE league. I'm really getting sick of 2K crapping on us with these terrible, half-assed roster updates.

And FFS, get rid of the injuries. No one wants them. No one wanted them years ago, no one wants them now. They should be used STRICTLY for NBA Today Associations and that's it. It's not rocket science.
shut up melo is playing great stop being a *****. he playing great d now and scoring with high fg percent and shooting much better from 3's. so melo should be 94 overall like durent

So what is your actual rating upgrades?

Don't just say Melo should be a 94 because that is what you think he should be, provide statistical proof.

P.S. he isn't playing great D, solid but not great.

melo shouldnt be a 94 because he isnt playing on the same level as durant. But he should be back to his 92 rating because he is not playing THAT much worse than kd.

When will you people realize that overalls for stars simply don't matter? As long as you can put up 30 a night with Melo, than it shouldn't matter if he's a 94 or a god damn 85. Unless it affects who is starting in Association or MyCareer, than overall doesn't matter.

Exactly. Melo is the type of offensive player who can drop 30 on any given night and be rated in the 80's. I've put up 20 and 10 with Zaza Pachulia against the Knicks and he's maybe a 64 or 65. Not that I expect to do that every game.

If he becomes more of a consistent defensive presence and continues to rebound well I'm sure he'll end up back in the 90-92 range. This is probably the most active I've seen him in both areas honestly.

Yes melo is the hardest person to guard in the nba. But statistically kd is doing better this year in everything but scoring a three point percentage. His team is also doing better. I am one of the biggest melo fans you will find. But he shouldn't be at the level of kd unless he does even better than he is doing now or if KD falls of a little bit. He should still be a 92 because he is close to the level kd is playing at right now. But he isn't there yet. I feel he is playing better defense than kd this year also but kd has more rebounds and more assist than melo this year so it's hard to argue that he should be the same rating.

The Thunder aren't doing much better than the Knicks their star has played every single game unlike the Knicks so yea they are about the same and Carmelo doesn't have a superstar point guard so he has to take some harder shots, all KD does is shoot jumpers off screens or slice the D in transition.

Theses kind of topics scare me. I wonder what the 2K franchise will be few years from now.

PS: It's DurAnt.

After one good game, if a guy is on one of the popular teams, he'll get an upgrade in the next update. However, look at guys like Larry Sanders, Gordon Hayward, Ed Davis, and JJ Hickson. It's bull****. These guys have been playing great this year. Hayward was killin' it last year, and still no update. They have him at a 68, which is below Raja freaking Bell and Alec Burks.
As one of the few OKC fans here, OKC has gotten 1 update..Ibaka, if you don't count the trade that went down. JR smith has gotten updated like 3 times, and the whole thunder team has 1 edit since the game came out. lol.
