NBA Live 14 News Post

Check out the latest NBA Live 14 gameplay tips video featuring gameplay designer Scott O'Gallagher, where he shows how you can improve your game.

The three minute video shows users the various ways to shoot, pass and utilize signature moves. It also shows post moves, pick and roll options, defensive controls, learning play art and provides auto-motion details.

It's interesting to see some sort of practice mode in the video. Maybe we'll see it in an upcoming patch?

Either way, check out the video. Maybe you learn a few things, maybe not, but it's good to see the team pushing out more information.

Yep, definitely coming. That's awesome.

Also a pretty informative video.

Finally have to stop guessing on the pick and roll option. Quick game with Mavs.

Will try the defensive tips also.

If they do end up adding practice mode, which judging by this video, there's a pretty good chance they will, I'm gonna be spending so much time with Kyrie and Crawford just doing their signature dribble moves. And since live has nailed signature jumpers for the players that have them, I'll be spending a lot of time jacking up threes with Curry and Allen.

Wow! The practice mode can be really good to get accustomed to the different shooting of the players. If they do add the practice gym, I hope they add it for dynasty mode too.

^ You are being tremendously negative. Let people like what they want and stop turning every personal opinion from someone into accusing them of using drugs.

Also, enjoy video games!

Great stuff. Yeah, unquestionably all of this should have been pre release, but better late than never. As a consumer, I don't mind a flawed product as long as there is post purchase support.

And, I am pleased to say, that's what you seem to be doing now. Keep it coming please

Looks like there are three patches to the game this morning. Maybe practice mode is one of them

I want to buy this, I really do! But the collision still seems really far off? They just bounce off without interaction... A practice gym in demo would be appreciated

So did they say this would definitely happen?

I can't necessarily applaud them for putting a practice mode in a NBA video game in 2013...but I appreciate their work on improving their product...

So sad hasn't been good Basketball game since NBA Live 2005 (YES INCLUDING 2K!). We've gone a whole generation with no good basketball games, closest was NBA Live 10 and NBA 2K11 but those games were okay but still far from the great games we played during PS2/XBOX/GC/DC days and PS1/N64 days. You Football fans are crying theres no competition, well AT LEAST MADDEN IS DECENT GAME! We Basketball fans have two garbage games and it's damn shame we have still have no good basketball game and we have moved on to ANOTHER GENERATION!
Man you lost me once you said madden was decent. Don't know how you could have enjoyed madden more this generation than the nba games. 2k was one of the most consistent sports titles of the past generation while madden struggled to find its footing for the first 4-5 years

Just a guess - but if they actually release this mode via patch, they will include real seats.

I suck with the dribble in live so a practice mode would be great!

really not that big of a deal, it's a practice stadium not a real stadium. I doubt that anybody would be paying attention to seats if they were trying to brush up on some skills.

NBA Live already has an agreement with ESPN, so if any more commentators or studio members get added to the game, it would have to be someone from the ABC/ESPN crew.

EA gives fans what they have been begging for.
OS poster complains about stadium seats.

Come on...

(In my best AI voice): "We talkin' 'bout seats... not practice, not the practice mode we been beggin' for, but seats!"

Where did they confirm practice was in? That's great news!

My original post was referring to the tutorial video EA finally gave us. I haven't heard confirmation on practice mode. Can be reasonably inferred from the video though...?
