Buy NBA Live 15 During Launch Week & Receive 10 Gold Premium Packs, Pre-Order For 20

If you purchase NBA Live 15 during launch week (October 28 – November 6, 2014), you will receive $30 worth of Ultimate Team content, which includes 10 gold premium packs.

According to the blog, as soon as you fire up the game on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you will receive all of the content. That is different from the pre-order bonus, which gives you one pack per week, for 10 weeks.

We have contacted EA to clarify and will update when we hear back.

UPDATE: Just received confirmation from EA Sports. For those of you that pre-order the game, not only will you get the 10 gold premium packs, but you will also receive one pack per week, for 10 weeks, for a total of 20 packs.

Don't really play LUT, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting the game next week so I think I will still pre-order. Seems like a sweet deal for folks that do though. Who knows, I might give it a try this year just to take advantage of this

is there a catch like there is in fifa 15. where you get the 10 packs spread out over 10 weeks or do you get them all at once? you have the read the small print with EA. they are sneaky as hell.

spread out like madden. hopefully i can get some good cards because madden just gave me a bunch of junk

You should be able to order it from within the Demo once the demo goes live if you want the Digital Version, I think. And if you buy within the first week, then you get the Ultimate Team Premium Packs as a "Thank You".

If I like the demo I will buy the game this week but not for these packs since I don't play these Ultimate Teams, but for the Best Buy Gamers Unlocked for $30 promotion. Are these packs delivered through a code? Maybe I could sell them for a few bucks on ebay.

Nah, it's an in game credit, that once you buy and activate within the first week, as soon as you login through ultimate team, it'll activate. At least I think that's how it'll work. Seems that way from the in game menu advertisement.
