UPDATE: Basketball Mode Coming to Rocket League in Late Spring

Hockey mode was released for Rocket League back in December 2015. Today the team at Psyonix Studios has teased a basketball mode is on its way. With the NBA playoffs and March Madness just around the corner, the release date for this mode shouldn't be too far away.

No other details or release date have been revealed yet, but when they do, we'll be sure to update everyone.

UPDATE: (3-14) They are targeting a late spring release date.

I wonder though if points would be alloted according to where it's shot from? That would be an interesting dynamic.

I like the creativity this dev team has.

Somewhat related, for some games I'd be interested in a 'control score' and slowly accrue points based on the time the ball was on one half of the court. Not sure it should be it's own mode, or ever interfere with the official score, but there are some games where I'd be really interested to see this kind of statistic.
