I can't see the injury report of other teams, but you're right Scottie Pippen and Chris Bosh are both out for that series

Ewing was the dominant player for Game 3 and in Game 4, Larry Bird himself took center stage! He didn't have a monster 40+ point performance like Patrick Ewing's been having, but that's because he didn't need to.

Larry's Celtics admittedly have more weapons not to mention, Larry Bird was in severe foul trouble all night which is what made his performance even better. He was hit with his 5th foul with 11 minutes left in the 4th qtr with the Celtics up by 8. I honestly thought this was the time my Knicks would take control of the game with Larry Legend effectively on the bench for pretty much the entire 4th qtr.. we just couldn't quite pull it off.

Bird leads the Celtics scoring 28 points in merely 3 qtrs of play and the series stands tied 2 games each.

Let's take a look at how the other more glitzy series is doing

MJ only scored 29 points but didn't need to score more and he still earned Player of the Game honors. Even though "Flash" Dwyane Wade scored 38 points, the defensive intensity of the Bulls was more than enough to shut the Heat down as the Bulls goes for the Century mark.

While it is sad that the greatest pick and roll combination in the NBA was swept, at least we aren't Wilkin's Hawks :/

Oh, and Detroit upsetting Orlando? :O

you know I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that..

if I was a betting man, and you gave me the brackets at the beginning.. and seeing how the season has gone.. my money would've been on SHAQ/Penny's Magic to win it all

2nd ranked Power Team, 2nd best record in the East.. and yet Zeke's Pistons are handling them with ease..

I am no historian, I never seen "The Bad Boys" of Detroit.. but holy crap were they that good?!

like seriously, were they that good?! damn..

edit: and you got a problem with The Sonic Boom Duo?? ...keep in mind Gary "The Glove" Payton is the only PG in history to ever win the Defensive Player of the Year and this is Shawn Kemp at his prime.. but yes I agree sweeping the Jazz was surprising

thanks, I can't control how the season plays out but I think a much better matchup would've been

Rose's Bulls vs Zeke's Pistons

Dwight Howard's Magic vs Shaq and Penny's Magic

only because then we'd still get Bad Boys vs Shaq+Penny except we'd get it in the Semis.. though nothing is guaranteed, just look at how Dirk's Mavericks are handling Wilt's Lakers in their series, it's 3-1 Dallas!

Karl Malone and John Stockton can't really win a championship.

That Pistons team is all around better than that Magic team.

This is also the Pistons team that swept the Lakers in the Finals. In other words they're that good.
