Former Pacers Big Man returns home

The Pacers have reached an agreement with free agent, and former Pacer star, Jermaine O'neal. The deal is reportedly worth 2.00 million dollars over the next year.

General Manager Mark Jackson, another former Pacer, had this to say about the signing.
"We are pleased to have come to terms with Jermaine O'neal and are hopeful he can help us battle our way back into playoff position. Having played one year with Jermaine in a Pacer uniform, back in the day, I know how much it means to him to be back in Indiana playing for the Pacers. He's determined to work hard, play tough and mentor some of our younger players."

Pacers lose to Clippers on a game winning Chris Paul jumper

Pacers Clippers Box.jpg

The Clippers, lead by Chris Paul's 26 points on 11-13 shooting, beat the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Field House 93 -91. Blake Griffin went for 23 points and 9 boards and his front court running mate DeAndre Jordan scored 16 and pulled down 12 rebounds. The game winning shot by Chris Paul was the dagger to the heart of Pacer fans everywhere. They knew they couldn't guard him the entire game, and when the game was on the line, they couldn't guard him.

Pacers Clippers - C.jpg

The Pacer's did their best to keep up with the high power offense of the LA Clippers. A well spread out scoring performance by a number of different players. Afflalo and West lead the way but it was the Pacer's bench that took and lead and held it for a majority of the 3rd quarter. Defensively I'd be remiss if I didn't mention "Big Dawg's" 5 blocks and throw back JO's 2 blocks.

This is taking longer than I thought it would so im going to switch up the design alittle bit. I'll post every 5 games and I'll only post the box score and a brief paragraph about how the game played out. Hopefully it'll be easier to read an understand and it'll get more people involved/interested

Pacers reach .500 at 12-12 after back to back wins against playoff level competition

Pacers Raptors Box.jpg

Pacers beat the Raptors by 1 point as David West, coming back slowly from an injury, dominated in all aspects of the game. West had 26 points to go with 10 rebounds. Troy Daniels had 18 off the bench and Hibbert put together yet another double double with 12 points & 10 boards..

Pacers Blazers Box.jpg

Indiana puts together another impressive win against the 17-7 Portland Trail Blazers. David West, who hit the game winning fade away with less than a second left on the clock, led all Pacers with 22 points, followed by Afflalo with 17. George Hill and Shabazz Napier ran the system and put together 15 total assists.

The Pacer's BIG MEN welcome the LA Lakers to Indianapolis

Pacers Lakers Box.jpg

While the Black Mamba showed up in Indiana to play, the same cannot be said for his teammates. Bryant had 30 points on 50% shooting. The next highest scorer was Jeremy Lin with 11.
The Pacers meanwhile dominated in every aspect of the game. They forcefully took control over the paint and wrecked havoc on the Lakers big men. "Big Dawg" Hibbert had a career high 38 points and 16 rebounds, while his partner down low had himself a night as well. David West scored 27 points and grabbed 11 boards. The two Big Men played so well its irrelevant what the rest of the team did, they were that damn impressive.

The Pacers visit The Staples Center to take on the Clippers

*The Indiana Pacers come away with a 1 point victory over the LA Clippers at Staples Center*

Pacers Clippers Box.jpg
==> The Pacers had their hands full all night dealing with Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers. Jamal Crawford contributed big off the bench adding instant offense whenever he's in the game. And Chris Paul's mastery of Doc River's system was on complete display tonight. Dishing dimes left and right, Lob City was in full effect. But it wasn't enough to overcome a determined Pacer squad
Pacers Clippers - C.jpg
==> For the Pacers Arron Afflalo really stepped his 3 point shot up a notch in this contest. That combined with how well George Hill managed to run the game were two of the biggest reasons the game was close. Roy logged another double double & West had his mid range shot working all night. But perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was how well Shabazz Napier, and the entire 2nd unit in general, played. With the acquisitions GM Mark Jackson completed to go along with the already present talent the Pacers quite possibly could have the best bench in the NBA. Its a big reason for their unexpected success.

**A look ahead at the next update will include a played game and an episode of Denari's Den where Chris sits down with Coach Frank Vogel and the 5 members of the Pacer's 2nd Unit**

Re: Blue Collar Gold Swagger: An Indiana Pacers Association

Indiana splits a back to back West Coast weekend

*Indiana turns the ball over too much as they take a loss against the Denver Nuggets*

Pacers Nuggets - Box.jpg

Shabazz Napier led all Pacers players in scoring with 20 points and 5 assists. Roy Hibbert, David West, and even Ian Mahinmi scored in double figures for the Indiana Pacers. The biggest disappointment of the game was leading scorer on the season Arron Afflalo, who only managed to score 10 points shooting 3-9 from the field.
Meanwhile for the Nuggets Kenneth Faried racked up a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. A total of 6 Denver Nuggets scored 10 or more points as they spread the ball around with great success. Denver also hit 91% of their free throws while the Pacers shot a mere 76%. It's a big reason the Denver Nuggets came away with the win.

*Indiana's bench leads the way to a 117 to 112 victory over the T-Wolves*
Pacers T-Wolves Box.jpg

Indiana redeemed their poor play in Denver with a huge offensive output in Minnesota. David West led all scorers with 31 points on 17 shots. His mid range game was unstoppable all game. Arron Afflalo, Roy Hibbert, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Shabazz Napier each had atleast 14 points. And starting point guard George Hill spread the ball around nicely totaling 12 assists and just 1 turnover.

Nikola Pekovic, with 27, and Thaddeus Young, 24, led all scoring for the Timberwolves. Pekovic also came away with 14 rebounds to cap off an all around great game for Nikola. Rookie Andrew Wiggins scored 15 points w/ 4 boards, and 4 assists.
