205 points allowed (#114 in nation)
30 sacks (tied for #1 in nation)
7 INTs (tied for #4 in nation)

67% third down conversion percentage (#1 in nation, #2 is 59%)

40 penalties (tied for #6 most in nation)
--- Lot of holding, offsides, block in back, false starts (I barely ever fake snap on offense). Never seen a pass interference.

Other notable stuff:
Heisman watch has #1 as my OLB and #2 as my HB
Have had plenty of in game minor injuries but nothing that has anyone out for the game or a few weeks

Thoughts:
- I literally never call man coverage on defense. I know it's not going to work and they're going to catch a ball down field
- CPU passing feels invincible. I have to wait for the CPU to make a CPU-mistake (throwing to a guy who is almost out of bounds in the backfield and they catch it and go out)
- Penn State's run D as 99 in nation is way lower than I'd expect in real life
- CPU offensive feels a tad “untacklable”
- Running feels so good.... and based on above it feels too good
- Every single game a shoot out, except U of Illinois. I wrecked them.
- I hope they come out with a massive update for all the stuff we're seeing. One can dream!

Using version 2 sliders exactly as written
did you try raising the user pass reaction time and pass coverage?

Would be hard to diagnose your offense "woes" are happening without seeing how you playcall and such.

For defense, I personally am having decent enough success but it isn't easy that's for sure.

The biggest things I do are the pre-play adjustments to key in on the pass, underneath/inside coverage (if they are going over the middle a lot), over the top if it's an appropriate situation (3rd and very long or late in the game when i just need to not get beat).

A couple things to note though:

1) The sim engine is absolutely borked right now in terms of stats. The rushing yards that RBs are getting are realllllly low as a whole. I ran 2 test sims and only 6-8 RBs broke 1k yards and none got over ~1200. There was also only 3-5 HBs who hit the 200 rush attempts mark. 31 hit that mark IRL (with 9 hitting the 250-300 mark)

IRL 45 HBs hit the 1k mark last season and 20 were above 1200 (with the top 5 being in the 1500-1700 range). That would help the CPU catch up in total yards and rushing yards by a good bit throughout the season.

2) Passing wise you're averaging around 350 yds per game which isn't too far out of the high end norm (tad high is where most football video games land because the short game is a bit bloated in terms of YPC).

sliders are awesome, completely changed the gameplay for me. i run 5 minute quarters and upped the fatigue to 55 and it does the job for me. it has allowed the better players to stand out and the running game is far more realistic

Just like when you run the ball, on kickoffs you need patience. Also, with the new rule since the last game, it might be more beneficial to take the fair catch and take it to the 25.

Punt returns, if the blocking ain't there just fair catch.

Only two kickoff through five games have even made it to the end one. It's all landing around the 5. Then I try to follow my blockers and make a cut off of them, just like running (I'm averaging 200+ yards per game rushing).

I just never get anywhere and honestly neither does the CPU. We both just get tackled around the 20 each time.

Keep in mind these have all been bad teams. I am Buffalo and have played UMass, UConn, Army, Navy, Temple. Maybe it's just because we're all bad.

For punts, every single instance from me and the CPU is either a fair catch or a return less than 5 yards.

I just housed a kick-off vs Washington in my dynasty. Gave up one vs Northwestern earlier in the season. Housed a punt vs FCS school too.
