have any of you guys noticed better team selections in career mode?a few months ago i played bayern in CL and you would see coman,wagner etc instead of first team players but played last night and the bayern lineup couldnt have been any stronger,same with spartak and celtic they were both strong too

Asking what value people out there are using for marking since the update in July? Is it what is on the OP set 52/52 or what has been suggested by Matt10 a couple of weeks of 48/48?

I've been experimenting with marking at 60+. I want the cpu to close me down faster, but higher marking leads to problems with the cpu's defensive positioning. It's difficult to find a good balance.

Fifa 19 we getting ultimate difficulty for career mode!! And can finally train sprint and strength!! Seems to be aload of little things being done to career mode!!

When you add up all the little things that they have done should be better but still needs more in career mode no doubt!! Something is better than nothing and they have added and done some good things let’s hope they make decent gameplay lol

Has anyone seen the latest tweets from ea?I find it quite shocking that they consider the champions league ,serie a and a few other licences as new career mode additions.Yes its good that the licenses are there for realism but they are in no way new features.Oh and a re-skin,i guess they will say thats a new feauture too?Ive seen countless number of people who have played the beta call it fifa 18.2 rather than fifa 19 so i guess that speaks volume but will have to wait and see.personally im not buying it til the price drops as im not forking out 45 quid for something that could have been added to fifa 18 as DLC.EA resting on its laurels knowing pes is in decline and there are no other real alternatives.Fifa 20 will have no excuses as there will be no journey mode for them to focus on so will be about time that career mode and pro clubs was given some much needed attention.

Notice that this has nothing to do with the difficulty level set to the cpu. At the moment, for instance, I'm first on the table. When I loose to a team playing on a reasonable way, it's ok for me, but when I begin to loose every dispute for low level players with boosted reaction times, then it becomes really artificial and spoils the whole experience.
I imagine some of you may have noticed this sudden change that can take place at any moment of a match, changing a very weak team into a football playing machine. I would like to know, with all the experience accumulated on the effects the sliders have on the game, if there is some parameter that can prevent the cpu from entering this boosted reaction time mode.
Hi Portella!

I think that high value in CPU accel is an excellent intuition not easy to find.
I'm experimenting CPU accel between 54 and 58 and this parameter really gets rid of the majority of defensive exploits brought by latest patches, without having significant impacts in animations.

Raising this value it's much better than raising marking, which should be kept at a very low value to avoid opponent players go off position, and in order to avoid huge midfield overmarking introduced by last update.

Can I ask you what value are you using?
