Same here. My set is fast enough. Default is like it’s in fast forward.

You guys should try TNK Sliders. I have played some games with them. Only change I made was drop hitting power down to 5-8 to get realistic hits and number of hits per game.

So I’ve messed with default superstar with some adjustments. Here they are:
Broken Stick : 50
Player Acceleration : 45/45
Skating Speed : 45/45
Max Pass Speed : 47
Pass Accuracy : 0 CPU/100 user
Hitting Assistance : 12
Hitting Power : 15/15

Everything else is default.

Both games I played were really entertaining. First game I was down by a goal 3 times and tied it all 3 before finally losing in OT. Second game I couldn’t do anything and got stomped 6-2. Both games felt good though. Nothing seemed cheap for either side and most goals were earned. A few in the second game were scored on bad turnovers by me. I was down 4-2 in the 3rd and was shorthanded late and tried to make something happen on offense.
I’ll play a few more over the next few days to make sure there’s no mysterious EA slider goofiness that randomly appears.

One thing about the (almost) default sliders is you really have to work for your goals and you absolutely must play smart defense in your own zone. Don’t go for a big hit unless you’re absolutely certain you won’t miss or you’ll have odd-man rushes against you all game.
