Manual passing broken in NHL 15

That is completely untrue. I have been able to tap R2 for a soft pass or hold R2 for a fast pass. Even the game controls list that. I can tell a big difference between the two.

The directional aim assist is definitely still there, even if you turn on manual passing and move the assist slider to 0.

I hope this is a bug that can be corrected, because it's a significant gameplay issue.

I don't think auto pass makes it unrealistic. It bases the pass accuracy on player ratings.

Manual takes almost all of the control out of the ratings and into the users ability. Having Crosby miss a wide open pass because you sneeze or the doorbell rings isn't realistic at all.

It might be my imagination, but I think after the recent update I can now make harder vs softer passes. Anyone else notice a difference? PS4.

i played 20 games last night, its this broken, what a joke this game, this is the only game i play so i bought the console for no reason...

Didn't somone mention manual passing in the changelog, for the latest patch?
