It is a good position for submissions. The better the position is for submissions, the faster the entries are. And I think the amount of stages also contribute in making the entries faster. The more stage there are, the faster the entries are (to compensate for the disadvantage of having more stages).

And in UFC 1 I actually ha dthe placebo of thinking more stages lead to slower defensive gates.

word. I'm talking about submissions outside of rubber guard, like from full guard. it seems I get caught in triangle attempts most frequently.

They are pretty fast, too. But I think they were slowed down a bit, by some patch.

They were not touched but a low input lag tv would solve alot of these issues. That seems to be the problem with most ppl and them having a tv that can't register there button command on time when they think they have it timed perfect. It really is a game changer!

Yeah, I'm not saying they should be slowed down, sometime I deny them just fine. I'm guessing it's a combination of what big cee said and my opponents perks. Internet lag doesn't help, but I was presenting this question assuming a lag-free match

I'm pretty sure they were, by the same patch that slowed down the guard pass (as a compensation). I'll ask around.

Transitioning from DOM Guard --> DOM halfguard was slowed down. SUB transitions in guard were untouched.

Rubber guard is fast, if you have a slow TV you can't reactively deny it.
