Week 2 Bristol Bay @ Green Bay

Vipers Get KO'd

Green Bay keeps rolling, blowing out The Bristol Bay Vipers 48-17. Aaron Rodgers lights up a weak defensive group. Rodgers completed 16 of 23 passes for over 250 yards, and added 5 touchdowns passes. All of them to different targets and hit 8 different receivers.

The Vipers defense had no answer for anything, they couldnt stop the running game or the passing game. Ryan Grant ran over them and around them, rushing for 130 yards on 21 rushes.

For the Vipers, the only thing they can hold their heads up about is that they had no problem moving the ball, but 4 turnovers cost them 3 great scoring opportunities, if they could have capitalize on them it might have been a different outcome. The defense will need to get its act together in a hurry. Next week they will host the 2-0 Pittsburgh Steelers.

Week 3 Pittsburgh @ Bristol Bay

Heart Breaker At Bristol Bay Memorial

Fans at Bristol Bay Memorial head home in complete shock. Fans watch their team fall apart late in the 4th quarter. The Vipers defense gave up 10 points in the last to 2 minutes to lose a heart breaker 27-20.

The Vipers looked flawless for 3 and a half quarters, but in the end they let the Steelers off the hook.

Steelers took over at their own 30 yard line down 20-17, but as always Big Ben was as calm as you can be. He helped drive his team down the field but when they got inside the redzone The Vipers defense stepped up. The Steelers failed to get a first down on 3 straight passing playes, so they settled for a field goal to tie the game.

On the following kickoff, The Vipers kick returner Travontae Edwards made a big mistake, instead of going down he tryed to get extra yards, but didnt see William Gay who jarred the ball loose and another Steeler player fell on it. With 1:50 the Steelers were already in field goal range, so they planned on running the ball down the throats of the Vipers, when fast Willie Parker broke a 13 yard run for a touchdown. In the end, The Steelers steal a game from the Vipers.
