Although, this game looks like it should be an easy one MSU shouldn't slack. We are getting toward the end of the season and a loss right now would kill their momentum and hopes of being ranked. If Caper plays like he has and the defense plays mistake free this should be an easy win for the Spartans.
Review: K. Cousins played a terrific game and so did B. Cunningham, they connected 7 times for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. Also, the defense played solid allowing under 100 yards rushing and only 2 touchdowns. Next up #25 ranked Utah.
L. Caper(#22) celebrates with J. Deyo(#71) after pounding the ball into the end zone from 3 yards out.
B. Cunningham(#3) takes a short pass 60 yards to the house near the end of the 1st half.
K. Martin(#82) dives into the end zone after an electrifying punt return for 83 yards.

This is gonna be a tough game for MSU, on paper Utah has a great passing attack and a sturdy defense. One of the keys for victory this game is whether or not the defense can step up and defend against the pass, if not it is gonna be a long day for MSU fans. Also, the Spartans need to win the time of possession battle to keep pressure off of the defense. They can do this by keeping the ball on the ground for as long as possible.
Review:
This was a very sloppy game for Utah and a very clean game for the Spartans. K. Cousins had the passing game clicking once again, throwing for 235 yards with 2 touchdowns, and the defense was very sturdy. Plus, Conroy was on a hot streak hitting 4 field goals from over 40 yards.
D. Sims(#80) hauls in a 5 yard pass to score the Spartans first touchdown halfway through the 4th quarter.
C. Rucker(#16) puts the Spartans up by catching a 14 yard pass, after Utah returned a kick, late in the 4th.
C. Rucker(#29) intercepts this pass to seal the victory for the Spartans.
