Looks like Farmer is the forgotten man when it comes to Barkley looking his direction.

I can just never seem to find him. This changes a bit in the Oklahoma game. I'm sad to see your Broncos off to a rough start in the Moore-less era

Trojans Nab Trio of Prospects Early

University of Southern California Recruiting - 2012
NAMEPOSCLASSHOMETOWNHTWTCALIBER
David HodgeQBHSMonrovia, CA6'2192
Tyler AndersonDEHSRiver Road, NC5'11229
Tom ClarkGHSSan Luis Obispo, CA6'1311

The Trojans got off to not only a fast start over Penn State, but also on the recruiting trail yet again. This time snagging 5* QB David Hodge from Monrovia CA. Hodge already has great size standing 6'2 and weighing 192 pounds and was one of the most sought after QB's in the class.

Tyler Anderson a DE in HS will look to make a move outside once he joins the Trojan roster next season. Anderson is a small DE standing 5'11 and weighing 229 pounds. Anderson is quicker than most OL in HS but does not have the size to stay down on the line at the next level. This quickness is what projects him to be a great LB at the next level. Anderson is fine with the move and has even asked his coaches if he can play a little LB this season to help him get acclimated to his new position.

Clark is a big guard coming in at 311 pounds. It's no wonder why he is a mauler at the HS level. If he can translate his skill set to the college game, his size will take him a long way. Clark will most likely redshirt this upcoming season as he will be behind Hobbi and Martin on the depth chart as big OL. Putting him on the line next to Aundrey Walker looks as if they can block out the sun with their size.

Trojans find a way in Norman

DJ Morgan puts the Trojans up early in the second quarter on a 9 yard run. The run broke a tie score of 3-3 after each team only put up a field goal in the first quarter. Morgan took a Ace back Power play and was able to get outside the tackle box after a great block from Tight End Xavier Grimble.

Matt Barkley connects with sophomore WR George Farmer in the third quarter to extend the Trojans lead to 17-3. It was Farmers first TD of the season and Barkleys only TD pass of the game. Barkley saw no one open and began to scramble until Farmer was able to break away from the defender and cut across the middle for the score.

Kenny Still breaks away from a defender late in the 4th quarter to pull the Sooners within a Score. The play came too little too late as the Sooners fell to the Trojans 17-10 in a thriller of a game.

Re: FIGHTING ON vs the sanctions: Restoring USC to dominance

Trojans continue CAL Dominance

Early in the second quarter, with the score tied at 3 apiece, Safety Demetrius Wright intercepts a Sweeney pass and returned it all the way for a 98 yard touchdown. This score put the Trojans up 10-3 and proved to be a huge momentum swing as it the Golden Bears were more than likely about to take the lead. The interception was Wrights first of the season and could not have come at a more opportune time.

Later in the second quarter (4:39 remaining) Matt Barkley found wide receiver Brice Butler on a short 11 yard pass. Butler has seen his work load increase significantly each game as he is proving he belongs on the field and be a productive wideout.

In the third quarter with the score 17-10, Matt Barkley was able to find Junior WR Robert Woods on a 16 yard slant route to extend the Trojans lead to 17. The Trojans would later add a FG in the fourth and win the game 30-10 in front of their home crowd at the Coliseum.

I am sad to see the Broncos off to such a sad start as well. Already out of the Top-25 and a 0-2 start
