Darwin Barney with the Cubs, if you don't mind trading in division. He's elite defensively.. very bad offensively though.

Just bring Pete Kozma back up? He's known for defense, although his bat is terrible.

Gabriel Noriega, a minor league SS/2B for the Mariners. He's got 82 fielding, 78 reaction, and his arm is solid.

He's 24 years old, but only has D potential because his bat is freaking horrible.

Want to gauge this for realism. I want to go ahead and explore trading Sale to try and speed up the rebuild of th ChiSox. I haven't started spring training yet. I looked at who the interest came from for Price and Sale over the off season. KC is obviously going for win now and tried for Price. LAD had some discussion but would not part with Seager for him. I don't want any doubt before I pull the trigger.

Thoughts on Sale for something like Zimmer, Duffy, Mondesi, Bonafacio?

Sale for Joc Pedersen, Urias, Seager, ZLee?

Sale to Texas for NRamirez, Sardinas, Alfaro, or something?

In my mind I don't think the White Sox trade to the Royals. As for the Dodgers, don't think they would trade the farm for another pitcher (0% chance). The Rangers maybe yes I could see that, not sure what they would give up though. Although Sale isn't moving for another couple of years (3-4, most likely 4) so him getting traded is unrealistic in my mind.

Ha just noticed you're the white sox. Thought you were someone else and wanted to move him using 30 team control. My bad. Ignore everything I've said.

Assuming you want a SS in return (Crawford), how about sending Latos to the Dodgers for a package including Corey Seager?
I like the idea, who else would be included?

Finally think I've finalized this cliff lee deal. Thanks to everyone for the help. How do this sound?

                      PHI send Lee and Byrd

LAD send Pederson, Zach Lee, Jose Dominguez

Thought about Ross stripling too but I thought that might be asking for too much.

Stats right now: cliff Lee is 4-3 with a 2.38 era
                      Byrd: .279 7hr 16 RBI

pederson in aaa: .298 5 hr 18 RBI
Lee: aaa 2-1 2.50 era on dl
Dominguez in aaa: 2-1 1.10 era

It's only mid may so I may wait a bit to make the deal, but what do you guys think about this trade? Fair and realistic?

Why do they need Byrd? They have enough OF.

And that isn't nearly enough imo.

I know, but trying to be real is most important to me. SEA would not give up Taijuan for Price so I didn't go that route. Wonder if LAD would go Seager for Sale if not Price. Thinking of the Latos deal as a comp. just looking for thoughts if you could elaborate. KCR actually feels okay though TEX seems most realistic but not as good of a return (don't know if they'd include Odor).

                            Sale > Price

You can get a top 20, top 50, and top 75 prospect back for Sale. At least. He's a generational talent. Jays would give Sanchez, Stroman, Davis/Pompey and then some.

If you don't believe me, you can watch him mow down the Yankees right now.

Just my first glance at this and assuming PHi is selling and LAD are buying, considering Lee's contract, I think Pedersen is all you get if even that.

I believe you hence the Latos comp. TOR would not go Sanchez for Price but would for Sale. I was wondering if you thought the others would though.
