Currently the Bombers are sitting dead last in the East, and 16 under .500, so naturally I am looking to sell. I would like to trade:

    David Robertson- 2.50 ERA in 15 saves with a 11.0 K/9 and a .89 DIPS

    Alfonso Soriano- .281/ .325/ .506 with 15 HRs and 46 RBI

    Hiroki Kuroda- 6-7, 4.00 ERA in 114.2 IP, and a 1.34 WHIP

Contenders: BAL, BOS, TOR, KC, DET, LAA, TEX, OAK, WAS, ATL, NYM, CIN, MIL, STL, COL, SF, LAD

As you can see, there are plenty of contenders.

    NOTES:

I am not afraid of trading within division.
I understand Kuroda and Soriano won't bring too much value, but I am mainly looking to deal Robertson for a nice piece.

    Thanks in advance

EDIT: Do you think it would reasonable to snag Rougned Odor for David Robertson? Soria has been garbage for Texas and with Odor blocked, I thought it makes sense. Spreadsheet says Mid B + High C for him.
I absolutely do not think the Rangers would go anywhere near Odor for Robertson. The guy is a 20 y/o middle INF and his value is >>>>>> a late inning RP not named Mariano Rivera. You'll have to set your sights a bit lower to find a realistic deal for Robertson.

Good news is with those stats, all 3 of your Yankee vets will be desirable for other teams out there, even Soriano who was just DFAd in real life.

As for the rest of your post, I'd refer you to the spreadsheet to get ballpark values for your guys, then make a list of spects that you're interested in and people in the thread will help you piece it together. Without any idea who you're looking at (aside from Odor), there's just too many unknowns to help out, and the Yankees could really use help EVERYWHERE in the minors.

Thats what I was thinking. Just thought I'd throw someone out there. Thanks for the response.

EDIT: Just quickly looking through these rosters, and here are some names that jump out at me from contenders:

      DET: Devon Travis
KC: Aaron Brooks, Danny Duffy, Christian Colon
      LAA: CJ Cron
      TEX: Nick Martinez, Luis Sardinas
      ATL: Cody Martin, Aaron Northcraft
NYM: Cory Mazzoni, Jacob de Grom, Wilmer Flores
      CIN: David Holmberg, Phil Ervin
      MIL: Mitch Haniger
STL: Tim Cooney, Joe Kelly, Randal Grichuk, Stephen Picsotty
      COL: Rosell Herrera
      LAD: Tom Windle

I tried to keep it pretty realistic, but I know some of these names are on the unrealistic side of things. If you couldn't tell, I was mostly looking at Middle Infielders and Starting Pitchers. If you need me to cut down this list, then I will happily do that. Thanks!

No problem. It can be tricky too, because the spreadsheet is a great guide, but not the end all, be all. For example, I noticed that you very rightly picked out Odor who has the exact same spreadsheet value as Robertson (mid B + high C)...but, at the same time the fairness says ok, the realism aspect says nope. I interpret Odor's spreadsheet value being more if he's used in a blockbuster trade to get a major star, he'd contribute a mid B + high C to that deal. Not really that the Rangers would give him up in a 1-for-1 for any old B out there.

I think I might try to target guys like Alex Gordon, Junior Lake, Starling Marte, Josh Reddick, Scott Van Slyke, Matt Joyce, Jon Mayberry Jr.
Not sure if there is any realism behind Gordon being traded, and well he is obviously not Stanton or CarGo, I believe it would take alot for KC to move him.

Marte was extended 6 years with 2 more options years, in March so really don't see that him going anywhere

Also not sure now likely the Cubs would move Lake either and I am well Reddick's power would be nice in Seattle, I really doubt Beane would trade him a divisional rival. However he is only a 1 year deal, so signing him as a F.A. next year could be possible.

Scott Van Slkye could be a great option though and is even being rumored to Seattle.

But that debate is for another post. For now, I am in fact going to focus on a right handed bat, by the name of Scott Van Slyke.

Mayberry has been on the block all year by the Phillies so I think he realistic and wouldn't cost much (High C) so even if he is a bust, it could be a good short term try

I also think M. Joyce is realistic and wouldn't cost the farm (Low B) maybe J. Montero or Choi to give them a future 1B and a mid arm live Beavan or maybe one of the younger OF's like Morban or Blash.

Eh, I was talking about this year's value combined with his minor league value to get a rough idea on how he'll do. I stating he has a 120 wRC+ right now, and his BABIP shows no regression. Before that I stated his wRC+ never was less than 143 in minor league ball (besides the 22 games in AA, SSS). I was in no way, shape, or form saying that ~300 PA would dictate how a player will do in the next 15 years. I saw the confusion and had to state that because I did look pretty stupid.

As the Cubs (pushing for Playoffs, 2 gb in WC, 9 back in Division) at deadline would Javier Baez, Addison Russell, and Albert Almora be enough to swing Stanton?

Marlins are 31 back and second worst record in league (Fernandez is missing most of the year to injury again). Stanton hitting .301 with 23 HR. Baez, Russell, and Almora, are all performing well in AAA but Baez struggled in the short time his been in the Majors.

In real life, the Marlins wanted Springer and Correa from the Astros for Stanton. I think Baez, Russell, and Almora is a solid package. You may need to add 1 more piece (Villanueva, if he's playing well?) but I don't think that's an unrealistic deal.

Don't think the Marlins would double up on SS's in a Stanton package.

Well in my franchise I have moved Baez to second since I have Castro so technically it would be a 2b ss and cf

I think Baez and Russell would be the exception. Baez could move to second, and they need to find where to move Hechavarria, or he'll be the odd man out.

They'd definitely ask for Bryant, I understand what you're saying. But I don't think they'd be disappointed with two top ten prospects coming back in that trade.

Both guys can play other positions, and their bats will carry them.

I think they'd hold out for pitching rather than 2 MIF spects. Marlins not getting any pitching back is a rarity.
