Moran, Marisnick and a draft pick for Cosart and Hernandez was the gist of it.

Yeah, just saw it on baseball reference (hence why I deleted my post)
Can't believe they dealt Moran already.
I don't know much about Cosart, but still...Marisnick I could sort of see - maybe thinking the OF is set with Yelich/Ozuna/Stanton - but Moran?"Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Glad to see the Mariners make these deals today as that is who I am in my franchise. Now I have some OF depth and finally have some balance with right handed hitters.Comment

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
It's been said in this thread close to 300 time broken trade logic. My guess is the term "unrealistic" has been used as much, but if I was a betting man, I would guess that over 2/3rd's of those comments are when someone comes in here and ask what it would take to get Baez from the Cubs.
It's funny because last year everyone in this thread kept trading for M. Olt and low and behold the Rangers actually dealt him to the Cubs.
In 2012 M. Olt as rated the #16 Overall Prospect, the #2 3B prospect and the Rangers #2 Overall prospect and in 2013 he was rated #58 and the #3 3B prospect and as soon as he went to the Cubs he became their #5 Overall prospect.
I think it's safe if you were a Rangers fan and hung out on this board, you would've told many people it was "unrealistic" that Olt would go for a playoff rental like Garza let alone they also got CJ Edwards and more..
So I personally don't think it's "unrealistic" to think anyone could be traded. You just never know.. Trades made today are perfect examples of it.
Now do I think Baez will get traded no (atleast not in 2014).. So does that make it unrealistic? I don't think so it's just my opinion as a Cubs fan, as someone who reads trade rumors, team news, ect.., and as someone who understands that 99.9% of the time a team doesn't trade the #1 SS prospect just because they have depth a younger starter at the MLB level and just acquired another top prospect.
What I use and love this thread for is helping me make trades for the CPU because I prefer 30 team control, I get tired of all the RP for prospect deals. I love all the different opinions you can get, and I love the fact that people worked hard on a spreadsheet that gives solid value for the players, but in the end it really comes down to you playing the Franchise however you want.
Also I am curious, I know last year you posted your Tampa Bay Franchise, but havn't seen your Marlins one this year. Are you posting it on another site? Would love to have a solid Fish Franchise to folllow, there really isn't any going on right now in the Dynasty section right nowComment
