Good to plan ahead but harder to give a correct trade value when we don't have all the numbers available. Take it with a grain of salt

With those crazy good stats for Altuve, he'd could probably net you Wong and Piscotty (or maybe Wong, Grichuk/Ramsey and Lynn). C-Mart is probably only being dealt for a big fish like Stanton, Price etc. He'd simply replace Lynn in the rotation if they were to deal him. Either way, this looks like a move for the winter and not something the Cards would make in the middle of a pennant race.
If you're giving up prospects, we'd assume that the D'backs are in sell mode? Collmenter and Didi G are nice depth guys for them to have around if it's a tight race in the NL West.
Santana for Gregorius is pretty even on paper (spreadsheet). Collmenter could probably be had for a a Nick Tropeano, Andrew Thurman or Luis Cruz.
Even during a bad season, I would think Beane would hold onto his young ace in Sonny Gray. There's an obvious need for a long term solution at 2B in Oakland so I like what you're thinking. Are you insisting on MLB ready pitching in return? If you opt for a bit less than high end quality (Gray) in return, you could widen your roster a bit by getting something along the lines of Straily, Milone + OF prospect Shipman/Boyd and Miles Head.
Looking at how Lester was dealt for Cespedes pretty much straight up, it could work with a Gray for Altuve deal straighth up. That is of course if the A's have rotation depth that's not injured ready to step in (don't know if you play with IRL injuries so that Parker and Griffin are out for the year).
