Yep. SCEA SD doesn't really patch for design decisions - oversights are about as close as it gets, like the highlights thing that was unreachable from the post-game menu but still in the game. I'd say look to 16 for this.

(liking the post because I agree with the post, not because I like the end result - believe me, I don't)

Same. I think the way they did it is terrible. And a bit disappointing Ramone seems so set on it staying how it is. One of the devs was talking about recreating the 1st baseman not covering 1st issue so hopefully there is one more patch and some miracle happens where they fix this as well.

Was it this way last year? To be honest I never made the playoffs last year so I am not sure if it was.

No the regeneration was the same as the regular season. And it seemd like the teams were using 4 man rotations then so im not sure why it was changed.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Really starting to see some issues with 15 as I get deeper into my franchise. This may be the icing on the cake that sends me back to 14.

This is really my only issue with 15. And while I sucks it can be managed. Max out the stamina slider and watch pitch count. Last time I was there my pitchers avg about 80-85 pitches. Could usually get 6 innings out of them. Had a couple 7 inning and even a guy go 8 innings. Gotta have a good pen though cause you are gonna need it. And if you get a game where you jump out to a big lead don't hesitate to pull your starter after 4 or 5 innings just to make sure he is ready.

Quick question though if you don't mind. Does this effect the CPU teams as well or is it only the team you control. I am sure this has been asked and answered but I am sitting in the Doctors office on my phone and it is kind of hard to check every post right now. Sorry

I believe it was stated it only affects teams in games the user played. So both you and the CPU, but only the team you faced.

Does maxing out the stamina slider have any drawbacks?

I haven't taken the time check CPU vs CPU as far as regenerating goes. But there is also an issue with pitchers not losing enough stamina in simmed games at times. I've had this happen a few times where Kershaw, Scherzer and Price have went 9 innings and started game 4 on short rest. I'm fairly sure CPU vs CPU pitchers regain stamina at the same rate (10% per day) as user vs CPU. But I think CPU vs CPU don't lose enough.



And during the playoffs I don't think there is any issue. It's just giving the pitchers more stamina to work with.

The developers have been really good about fixing issues with the game, it's mind boggling why they wouldn't fix this. I guarantee 100% of your customers would like this issue fixed in a patch. Star pitchers are used more in the playoffs, this special playoff super fatigue forces everyone to use star pitchers less. It makes absolutely no sense.

Considering it was a design choice, it's likely to be fixed. I doubt it will happen, but I would love to see an actual fatigue system that carries on from game to game, and even year to year. Like NFL Head Coach did with each part of the body having its own "health" status, I'd love that in the Show. Pitchers with lots of innings would wear down their arms and then it would actually be more realistic in the playoffs. Right now every pitcher is punished even if they threw 45 inning all year. I'm treading off topic though.

They have said it won't be fixed because it is working exactly as it should. Which is mind boggling to me. I can't imagine why they wanted it to work this way. Reminds me 13 when base runners could never score from second because they would slow down to a crawl at third base and didn't pick up speed again until halfway between third and home. They said that is exactly how it was supposed to work, which again, was mind boggling. Ramone said the stamina issue was to help with the use of 4 man rotations, which makes 0 sense at all. If anything, this is forcing you to use a 5 man rotation, and even then the starters are not fully rested come their next start. Talk about doing something bass ackwards.

Well as much as I love this game I must say the developers need to pull their heads out of their *** and fix this. If they continue to ruin the playoffs with this fatigue garbage in future games I will not buy again.
