Was shredding it in Double A through the end of May and was wondering when I'd get called up.

Tried to play the next game on Double A calendar and it informed me I was moved up all the way to the majors for the Marlins.

Didn't even know it was possible to skip AAA in this. Pretty cool

Does anybody think it makes sense that it should take way more training points to develop a really highly rated pitcher (e.g. 90+ overall) than it does to develop a similarly rated position player?

I am playing as a starter pitcher. Is there any way to save the in-game. There has been several times when I had to leave and had to erase the game because there was no in-game save. At least I cant figure out how do it.

Not in this mode. You can use the PS4 Rest Mode option if you just need to take a break for a while.

The improved outfield play in RTTS has really made this game worth the purchase for me. I wasn't really impressed with the direction of the mode from all the pre-release hype for the Showtime and Perks stuff, but the work the devs put in to tuning the gameplay is very noticeable. I've played about 30 games of my continued RTTS career in MLB 16 and I've only made a couple errors in RF. Those errors were nothing like all the errors I made in MLB 15 due to wonky controls. One of the errors the ball just fell out of my glove which I'm not sure if I did anything to cause or not, and then the other was me doing goofy stuff.

I still wish I could move back to 2B where my player's career started and won 3 gold gloves, but it helps my team too much being an OF since I have a decent young 2B that was always backing me up there.

I started a 3B and played some but not really feeling it.

I have various players to carry over. Are there any issues with carry over saves? I have a CF, 1B, SP, CP all in the majors that could be carried over.

My stating pitcher just got called up to a Phillies team that is 22.5 games back in the East and has traded Nola, Eickhoff, Franco, and Altherr. I'm pretty psyched that this team won't be competitive for the next decade lol.

Sorry if its been mentioned in here but is anyone else having problems with dynamic hitting working. I've played several games with a couple different guys and its not moving at all. The slider wouldn't make a difference because it hasn't moved at all with all the games I've played. My 2B is batting over .500 a month into the season.

Yeah Dynamic Difficulty in RTTS for hitting is bugged right now. It's on the bug tracker and near the top of the upvoted issues, so I think as long as it CAN be patched it probably will be - they're definitely aware of it by now.

Yeas, it appears to be a bug mine stopped advancing as well. I wonder of we change the setting and then change it back whether it will kickstart it. I think I will try it right now. Report back soon.

EDIT: Back and it did not work.

My SP for the Giants was in a pitching duel till the end against the Pirates. After 8 innings, it was still 0-0, my SP with 1 BB, 8 K's, 8 hits. Top of the ninth the Giants finally scored two runs, so in the ninth I was pitching for a complete game shutout. Got the first batter out, 2nd batter got on base because Crawford couldn't handle a grounder to him. 3rd batter lined out to 2nd baseman, so had one more out to go. Bochy decides to pull me out and put in the closer!!! That was after I got the second out!!! The closer allowed two more hits before making the save. Very lucky the batter than got on base because of Crawford's mishandle didn't score!

Alright, I think I'll give a little update on my guy.

Javier Manzares, a hot-throwing right handed starter at just 18-years old out of Miami, Florida. He was doing pretty solid in Double AA when all of a sudden, he was called up to the team that drafted him in the Baltimore Orioles. He was drafted in the 2nd Round. The results? He got off to a hot-start, pulling off multiple performances in impressive fashion making many believe he was the next hot phenomena in baseball.

Sadly, injuries seemed to rail him as the season carried on. Specifically, FOUR different injuries in different starts hampering him an insane amount. One. Three. He declined as the season ended but many positive-thinking fans believe it was injury-induced, rather than him getting exposed.

After a rocky spring training the following year, Manzares started the season in the bullpen as the teams main long relief pitcher. This was believed to be positive in multiple respects. 1) it'll be a less stress on his arm and allow him to face batters more infrequently 2) not break the 19-year old's confidence if he ends up struggling against grown men. Sadly, the results could not have been more horrific. In his first relief effort, the Orioles were down 2-3 to the Toronto Blue Jays in the 8th inning. Manzares loaded the bases with 0 outs and gave up a grand slam to Troy Tulowitzki. He was soon yanked, and this would only set a precedent for his next few efforts to come. After being lit up multiple times in future outings, Manzares was berated by Buck Showalter which truly pissed the teenager off. Manzares demanded a trade, and in response, the Orioles sent him down to Triple AAA to teach him a lesson.

Down in Triple AAA(staying as a reliever stunningly) Manzares dominated. Minor-league hitters couldn't keep up with any of his material. He produced a 0.62 ERA through 15.1 innings. Before you knew it, he was called back up to the majors and placed right back at his old position of being the 5th starter in the rotation.

SOOOOO YEAH... that's where I'm at right now. Wish me luck and hope I don't bomb again. Oh, and I've been playing the game on Hall of Fame and have been having a blast, even if I've been getting lit up more often than I'm torching the CPU.
