overalls being lowered across the board is only for DD to accommodate the legends 125 ratings, they said the offline players will be like last year I think?

Altuve contract is technically up at the end of this year, but he has 2 very cheap team options that will surely be taken up, but the game doesn't take that into account, so that's why he's on a free at the end of the year. As for Stanton, that's just bad trade AI unfortunately

No they mentioned multiple times that the live series players will also have ratings changes. In Franchise, it's impacted by morale. But the ratings that you start with are being calculated from a different mixture of info than last year.

I'm pretty sure they said at the end of the stream that wasn't the case. Also you could see players ratings in the FA market and they were about where you'd expect them to be using last years system

Altuve only has a team option for 2019 so for whatever reason the in game Astros didn't pick it up, which makes no sense

Wrong. The game does take into account when a team still has control. Any player less than 6 years service time doesn't go to FA, just like real life. Who knows why it happened on stream, it's anyone's guess. But I've never seen a player that was under a teams control go to FA unless they were released by their team. And that is rare, and generally doesn't happen to big name players.

No fix for when my starting pitcher gets injured and I bring in a reliever who is COLD...they should be warm given they are allowed as many warm up pitches as needed in real life.

I guess technically this would be a game play issue, but I have not seen anything regarding the AI base running being improved. Has anyone else?

Could just be for the stream to grab attention. For instance would you more likely notice Judge, Stanton, Altuve or Smith, Johnson, Williams so to say. Just opinion.

I'm re-watching the stream to see if I missed anything. The Rockies were 45-51 at the All-Star Break and had Arenado on the trade block. So, yeah, trade logic looks like more of the same. Someone else mentioned Jose Ramirez being traded twice in a very short span of time as well.

I honestly think something was funky with the rosters. You notice how they kept wanting to see the roster for Philly and he wouldnt show them. Then the Phillys won 102 games. I really think the Philly fan had played around with the rosters and or some shenanigans to get the Philly's to win. This was probably a 2 week old build that he was messing around with.

Not sure why they would do that knowing how many people are sticklers for good AI trade and FA logic.

After this season Altuve will have played 7 years in the majors and would be eligible for free agency. The two years of team options are from a contract he signed years ago that covered both his arbitration years and with options for his first 2 years of free agency.

Edit, scratch that, he's apparently already in his first of those two options this year and will become a free agent the year after next

I'm 95% sure option years aren't included in the contract length because it's not 100% it's going get picked up or not.
