Man, some of you all are extremely nit picky. This is the best baseball game out period and has been for a very long time. I appreciate that kind of longevity in excellence. I can't wait for 18!

We just wanted a few things added into franchise mode that we've been asking for over 3 years. It's not being nit picky.

MLB The Show makes a TON of cash. There's no reason not to have a bigger team. I'm so tired of the "it's a small team" excuse.

At around 8 minutes into the video, they mentioned that they did hundreds of hours of UX testing.

They talked with hardcore franchise players, casual franchise players, and those in between. I don't remember them saying anything specific about "community days" or anything like that.

I think so too. I just wish they were better at communicating what their future plans are with the mode.

Whatever they do with Franchise mode I think next year they need to give us the details to it early, like at the beginning of February or when the first stream is. Stop pushing it off and having it be talked about only a week before the game is released like the past 3 years.

Honestly, the streamlining is overdue. But of course it feels like a copout again and I probably won't be touching the mode this year. Now that the streamlining is completed, I wonder what next year's excuse will be for why the mode doesn't have anything substantially new. If it wasn't for RTTS finally getting some revival, I wouldn't even buy this game anymore, and it's pretty much the only sports game I buy these days. As of right now, going to wait for a price drop.

Bummer about the inter league schedules not rotating but a lot of legacy issues were fixed and the interface in 10 times better than previous years. The Show already has a good base for franchise and what they have done this year to make it that much better has me excited. I may be in the minority but I would rather have legacy issues addressed other than a brand new addition which would take away time for them to fix these legacy issues.

Disappointed. Probably will stick with 17 for another year.

I do think the phases help because a lot of that stuff is confusion and difficult to see.

The trade logic and contract logic seems all over the place. 7 year contract or something given to a 31/32 year old?

I also just don't GET the weekly budget. On the screens offering guys contracts or offering free agents contracts it shows you weekly cashflow? Unless im missing something I just want to see what my current yearly budget is, how much ive offered to others and how much i have left. Whats weekly cash flow helping?

Also watching that 09 trailer, graphically it barely looks different.
