Kevin Kiermaier with his injuries added in is still worth about ~$141 million in surplus. Without his injuries he is worth almost $190 million. Insane.

That is crazy. I mean awesome for the Rays, but man. I'll leave the trade as is on the log then.

I took out all potential WAR so it works, but man that is crazy. Just shows what a controllable, cheap player that is very good with the advanced sabermetrics can go for.

Is there a reasonable deal to be made in sending Odor to Minnesota and getting Gordon in return? I could add DeShields Jr. and Brett Martin. Initially I was going to move Beltre to MIN for Gordon and Co. but I just can't stomach watching Beltre retire in another team's uniform.

Why would Minnesota trade for Odor when they have Brian Dozier. Doesn't make any sense.

Beltre wouldn't net you Gordon either

Beltre + was already approved for a return of Gordon pages ago. Dozier is 30 with an expiring contract so they can leverage if they can't resign. I'm brainstorming here, Odor isn't very valuable. Minnesota does need outfield help.

Here are three trades I made with the Atlanta Braves.

ATL receives : IF Gleybar Torress, RP Dillon Tate
NYY receives : IF Freddie Freeman, C Kurt Suzuki, OF Cristian Pache

ATL receives : IF Jurickson Profar
TEX receives : SP Max Fried (Top 100 prospect)

ATL receives : OF Mickey Moniack
PHI receives : OF Ender Inciarte (27 y/o, 86 OV), SP Luiz Gohara (Top 50 prospect)

How far off would a Greg Bird for Jose Abreu trade be? on the face of it it looks to me like a deal that would benefit both sides as the White Sox would get a cheap, high potential guy with 2 more years of control than Abreu, but the Yankees would be getting a far, far more reliable hitter at first base. The only real issue is that Abreu is a righty and he Yankees are already a bit heavy on righties

Abreu is worth 40 million in surplus where as bird is a confusing value.IMO Bird has a value of 20 million so if the yankees throw in a guy like Tate and German or someone similar.

Interesting, I might have valued Bird a bit higher but as you say it's impossible to accurately gauge his value because of all his injuries. I'm working on something a bit over elaborate that this might be a piece of, so I guess it's a decent start

If you go to the first page there is a list of trades that have been approved for many teams and situations.

Is Jesus Luzardo, Lazaro Armenteros and Grant Holmes enough to get Archer to Oakland?

Alright, after some scheming (too much), I was thinking of doing this three way trade. I think it just about adds up, but I might have gone a bit off the deep end with my reasoning.

Yankees get- Kevin Kiermaier (TB), Jose Abreu (CWS)
Yankees give- Greg Bird, Aaron Hicks, Clint Frazier, Estevan Florial, Justus Sheffield, Chance Adams

Tampa Bays gets- Florial, Sheffield Adams (NYY), Luis Robert (CWS)
Tampa Bay gives- Kevin Kiermaier, Alex Colome

White Sox get- Aaron Hicks, Greg Bird, Clint Frazier (NYY), Alex Colome (TB)
White Sox gives- Jose Abreu, Luis Robert

I think I've gone a bit too far and pretty much just screwed myself over. It's all a bit based on me hearing the White Sox wanted JBJ for Abreu in the winter and saw 2019 as the year to start competing again, which may be well wide of the mark.
