Value wise I get it but no way it would happen IRL.

I mean I agree. New York would be pushing out a ton of talent for a single pitcher when their staff is already in a good place. So yeah, this isn't a real life thing.

I do think that the trade is realistic though. If I'm Detroit, I'm hanging up the phone if the deal doesn't start with Torres. Knowing that the Yankees don't shy away from big contracts, I think they compete to get a guy like Machado regardless of whether Torres is still there or not. I'm having to work from the perception of the Yankees GM (The Poster Who Asked the Question) in this case, who seems to be motivated in bringing in Fulmer. If this GM wants to get Fulmer, they can, but it's going to hurt. With that said, I could be wrong, but this GM would likely still have the resources to swing a deal with Baltimore for Machado as well, which nullifies the need for Torres.

Okay, so, I kind of need a bit of an outside opinion here:

I’m the Phillies, using the OSFM 1.5 rosters. I’m playing quite well right now in June, but since I’m thinking ahead to the off season, I’ve got some planned moves. I’m going to make a play for Harper and feel confident about it, which originally meant I was going to trade off Odubel Herrera and most likely Franco, to make room for Kingery.

However, after testing some waters for a third basemen, I’ve found that I can obtain Miguel Sano from MIN, for Franco and Nick Williams. Which means I’d move Odubel over to RF to platoon with Altherr and shift Harper to CF for next season.

Should I pull the trigger?

Playing as the Mets, just getting into May, but already eyeing a deadline deal.

Rockies starting poorly and Blackmon on the block. What about the following:

Mets trade: Conforto, Gsellman, mid level prospect
Rockies trade: Blackmon

Thoughts?

If the Giants are out of it near the deadline is it at all realistic that they would consider moving Madison Bumgarner?

If so what would would it take for the Yankees to get him? His ERA is 3.54 with a 1.09 WHIP.

I just lost dejong for 2 to 3 months and I'm looking for a replacement. I saw in the spreadsheet Machado for Flaherty and O'Neill.

2 questions: can I sub Bader for O'Neill in the trade? I do a lot better with O'Neill and can't seem to hit with Bader. Other question would Kelly C be enough for Iglesias SS and Norris RP from the tigers?

Sorry if these seem like dumb questions I don't follow baseball a lot and am trying to use the spreadsheet and use prospects to get some depth.

Hyun-jin Ryu and Yimi Garcia dont have a spot on the dodgers roster and the Red Sox desperately need pitching help in the rotation and bullpen. What would it take to do that move? Doesnt have to be both if it sounds like the dodgers wouldn't actually make a move like this.

Does Goldschmidt and Corbin to the yankees for Bird,Sheffield,Adams, Abreu and Walker get it done for two years of Goldschmidt? The D backs are struggling obviously is why I ask.

Just started a new franchise with the Padres as I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do with this team. That said, I've moved Jose Pirela from LF to 2B and also moved Will Myers from RF to 3B. That's my infield sured up for the most part so right now I'm looking to fill out the rest of my outfield with Manuel Margot at CF and Hunter Renfroe on the bench but in RF. Now I can always just roll with Renfroe as my starter but I want to see if I can do better. I have tons of prospects and have my eye on Domingo Santana (RF) of the Brewers, Andrew Benintendi (LF) of the Red Sox, Yasiel Puig (RF) of the Dodgers, Michael Conforto (LF) of the Mets, Michael Taylor (LF) of the Nats or Adam Duvall (LF) of the Red. What would it take to get any two of those guys? Sorry if this makes for a lot of research.

as a dbacks fan i dont see them trading Goldy, hes the face of the franchise, and i think they would keep him and try to resign at all cost then trade him.

As a Reds guy, I’d say they need pitching. No way I’d deal Duvall without getting a possible rotation guy.

If no one bring up questions on trades to certain teams then they do not get answered is all. Do you have one?
