Pat neshek one of the worst fb around 90 and change about 70. I hope they get pitchers pitch speeds and the pitches they actually use right because some of the pitches they have they throw irl. The data is out there.

Re: MLB The Show 19 Twitch Stream Schedule Revealed
I am more inclined to feel this way as well as I am overall very happy with '18.
My only real gripes with '18 are mainly with RTTS, which I have been playing less and less of. I like the new system of what you do on the field dictating the points you get and where they go. I don't even mind the CAP system for slowing growth a good bit. But I really don't like being stifled into a perpetual middle of the road player who constantly struggles to over achieve for greatness. Now I get where they were going with this and its fine overall I get it, this is how baseball works for the majority of those that play it in real life. But this isn't real life. I play games for escape from my own mediocrity in life and simple entertainment. NO KID grows up dreaming that he is going to be the bench utility player for the Minnesota Twins. I played RTTS to be Tony Gwynn, to break the HR record, to be Cal Ripkin JR. If I want to play a baseball game of mediocrity I will go down to the county field and play pick up with the rest of the old farts and go drink some beer afterwards.
So what I am saying is, for me, keep everything the way it is if you want. But let us be the stars we dreamed of being as kids.
For the rest of the game, I truly believe we all want the same thing. So lets quit the asinine childish bickering and act like a community. We all want a better, deeper more polished franchise mode. Every single person on this forum has issues with the game. From my dear friend Countryboy to Armor to PAD we all have complaints and wants for this game. Its just that every person has a different idea of what those are and how it needs to happen AND how to express those like and dislikes for this process.
For right now? I am cautiously optimistic. I have bought this game for over a decade and played played the hell out of it. But I am less excited this year than I have ever been.
I truly do love '18 except for what I outlined above and could be very happy with it being the last baseball game I buy for a good while. So unless something changes in the next month or so of streams and upcoming information I am in a holding pattern for now. I may wait for reviews from Countryboy who loves this game like no other on here, Armor who understands the insides of this game like few others and PAD who is a egotistical a$$ but I do love him and consider him a friend, he will never be shy about what he feels is wrong with the world of MLB The Show and right or wrong he should be respected for standing his ground.
OK. I am done. This is the most I have said on here in a good while. Now I am going back to finish year 4 of my Padres Franchise just in case I end up getting '19 sooner than planned.
Peace my friends

Re: MLB The Show 19 Twitch Stream Schedule Revealed
That is where I always give them the benefit of the doubt. And while last cycle people were let down, not impressed or downright furious, I felt they made some really good “under the hood” improvements to franchise mode and despite unpopular opinion I really liked the new “reskin” of the Franchise hub. Was it perfect? No absolutely not. In fact it can be so much more with a news center, upcoming matchups and recap scores around the league (which was removed...why?).
Improve the radio show which I really enjoy. It can be so much more.
So yeah...I hope and expect more than just “contract extensions” to be the only upgrade to franchise mode.
Let’s bring on the streams!

Re: MLB The Show 19 Twitch Stream Schedule Revealed
I would love to give SDS the benefit of the doubt, but unfortunately I think internally they are hoping people get bored with franchise so they will wonder into DD. This happened to me last year and I finally tried DD and didn't see what the big fuss was about.
However I did get quite a few really good cards for my pre-order bonus. I then went into marketplace and undercut the bid of that same card by about half to tank the marketplace out of spite for franchise. I am not sure this is how the market works but there's some people out there who got some really good cards on a bargain last year lolComment

Re: MLB The Show 19 Twitch Stream Schedule Revealed
My first non-preorder in about 6 years. This is partially because 18 remains good enough and partially because I want to see the actual gameplay improvements - better and more realistic animations, collision physics and the end to lock-in skating animations in the field.
I only play franchise mode but there aren't any significant changes I need to see in the mode. I play every game in the season and don't expect to get through more than 1.5 seasons each cycle. If I want a franchise sim i'll just fire up OOTP 19.
I want the Show 19 to nail the actual gameplay on the field and if they do this each mode will benefit.Comment
