This game is absolutely perfect to play using Remote Play. Totally digging it for times I can't use the 4k TV to get some RTTS in.

Gotten to play 2 full games so far.
...one with sds and one with full minor's

Sds game was wonky I got 23 hits with Padres did all power swings and contact only mustered 1 run with 13 lob.. ended up going solid thru 8 innings 1-0 then giants busted 4 runs In bottom 8th ...

I followed up with 3 in the 9th before some guy hit a walk off in bottom 10 forn giants. 27 hits 4 runs.. all star zone


Then enter Mike Lowe's sliders w full minor's and played as Seattle verse the Mets pitched a complete-game shutout three hitter with Kikuchi. I won 1 to nothing

I hope one of these years/patches, they can move the PITCHER/BATTER analysis screen back to the D-PAD.

I use/rely on that information heavily.

This is why guys should play games and get a feel before they dig into a long franchise. The game out of the box just can't be for everyone. Some love it as it is, some need to adjust sliders. Great to have all the options to fit our own personal abilities and needs.

Ugh. Maybe I’m just lucky, but I would say half the time a relief pitcher comes in he drops his glove. I see it coming and X thru it, but would like to see the presentation for pitchers entering a game get a facelift.

Does anyone else feel the game just “pops” more this year? I really feel like players have never looked/acted more lifelike. The atmospheres are so alive, and it really feels like a day at the ballpark. I catch myself turning off the announcers and just listening to the sounds in between pitches all the time.

Definitely. The lighting in this game is just incredible, especially with some of the new presentation camera views.

Just had one of my best offensive performances in Show history. I beat the Braves 21-6 last night getting 20 hits.

We had 21 runs, 20 hits, 7 homeruns, drew 14 walks, and struck out twice. Not a bad day at the plate.

No idea how anyone is enjoying this game? I consider myself an above average player and the hitting in this game is about accessible as a James Joyce novel. I know I’m getting older and my reaction time isn’t as quick but the hitting is absolutely absurd. Even when I miraculously get a hot they are all singles or smashes that the outfielders all catch.. I’ve tried all the usual slider sets and lowered down to All Star (which I’ve never had to play on before) and the game is just stale. Even spent hours in practice to no avail. The game looks beautiful and I’ve found the computer hitting to be more competitive but when you can manage to hit it’s a loss. Any recommendations before I scrap this and head back to 18 would be appreciated. I’ve used Tanks and Lowe’s sliders and dropped to all star. I don’t know what to do?

Drop to Veteran. They should use numbers for levels, 1, 2, 3, etc., that way gamers won’t get hung up on the bravado, sic, “I only play on Legend”, etc. you have to do what you have to do to make the game work for you.

Thanks guys I’ll will give it a try. I’m not really opposed to dropping levels or pitch speed but usually when I do the integrity of the game goes downhill and then I am just dominating. Like I said there is still a lot to love about this new iteration. Cheers!

I’m sorry but pitching is a joke in this game. I have an era of 2 after 20 franchise games and the game has become boring on Legend meter. This game was once great and has been dumbed down. The cpu can’t hit!
