Re: MLB The Show 19 Franchise Discussion Thread
Anyone else noticing really high ratings after a just few seasons? Im in 2022 and each team is completely stacked with 80's and 90's. I just think it's weird how the launch roster has teams with no 80's and now each team is stacked. Either progression is way too high or too many players have high potential.Fan of:

Re: MLB The Show 19 Franchise Discussion Thread
Not sure if I’m missing something obvious but in my Franchise I have scouting set to Auto but come the draft I have no players that have been scouted. Anybody know what I could be doing wrong? I’m on 18 if that makes a difference.

2019 Chicago Cubs Carryover Franchise
Well the first road trip of the season has come to an end and it wasn't as bad as some thought it would have been with Kyle Hendricks out for awhile. Tyler Chatwood has filled in nicely for Hendricks, going 2-0, 14.IP, 2BB, 9k's and a stellar 1.29 era. The Cubs went 5-4 on the trip and now head home to take on the Pirates. The Reds are red hot and lead the way in the N.L Central
Cin 8-2
Chi 5-4 2.5 gb
Stl 5-4 2.5
Mil 5-5 3.0
Pit 2-7 5.5Playstation Network:That70s_Gamer

Re: MLB The Show 19 Franchise Discussion Thread
After running into some injury troubles at the end of April and a hot start by Vlad Jr in AAA, I decided to make the call. The whole game, the announcers calling his debut was so cool and authentic. He didn’t disappoint going 3-5 with a run scored batting out of the 3rd spot playing 3B.
Looks like he may be here to stay! Loving this game.

The games count. Opening Day is here
Opening Day is upon us as the 2022 St. Louis Cardinals will try to get back to the World Series, after getting there and losing last year to the A's.
The Cardinals finished spring training with a 13-15 record. They made some roster moves during the spring to balance out some log jams. Now their 25 man roster is set, and will open the 2022 regular season in Seattle against the Mariners.
The Cardinals 25 man roster:
C- Carson Kelly
1B: Jon Singleton
2B: Kolten Wong
SS: Troy Tulowitzki
3B: Patrick Wisdom
LF: Juan Fabregas
CF: Harrison Bader
RF: Tommy Pham
C - Francisco Pena (chosen over Andrew Knizer)
IF - Kike Hernandez
IF: Paul DeJong
OF: Corey Ray
OF: Oscar Mercado
Rotation:
Michael Wacha
Carlos Martinez
Jack Flaherty
Alex Reyes
Mike Leake
Bullpen:
Tyler Lyons (L)
Jordan Hicks
Dean Kiekhefer (L)
Adam Cimber
Andrew Miller (L)
Roberto Osuna
Closer:

@countryboy, what year did you start doing carryovers? I wish I had started sooner.

MLB the Show 19 - Baltimore Orioles Franchise
5-18 to kick off the season. We’ve yet to win a series and are still struggling to put a full team together as it feels like spring training hasn’t ended. I knew this team would be bad but didn’t expect this level of crash and burn so quickly.
Renato Nunez was named the opening day first baseman after batting over .400 in spring training. He hit a paltry .083 to start the season so was sent to Norfolk to right the ship. His replacement, Rio Ruiz, has batted .105 in his stead.
Opening day shortstop Stevie Wilkerson and centerfielder Joey Rickard have batted .139 and .105 respectively. Both are going to Norfolk as well to try to get it together.
Trumbo and Mancini are both sitting in the low .200’s with just 3 HR between them. Chris Davis is at .130 with a single home run. I don’t know how much longer I can justify keeping him on the roster, but also don’t have an obvious replacement for him and don’t know if it makes sense to pass him through waivers to get to AAA.
#5 starter Yefry Ramirez lost all 4 of his starts, failing to get past the 4th inning in all 4. I have no choice but to send him down as well to get it together, but feel like anyone I replace him with is just being fed to the wolves. Prospect Luis Ortiz dominated in his 3 AAA starts so he will get the call first.
We’ve had few promising performances to cling to. Dylan Bundy is off to a good start and seems to have reinvented himself as a pitch-to-contact groundball type pitcher. He’s 1-2 with a 3.18 through 4 starts, striking out just 15 in 25 innings. Rookie Drew Jackson has entrenched himself as the starting shortstop and is batting .345 with 2 homers and 9 stolen bases.
I figure to be playing the roster shuffle for a while, but early returns show most of these guys aren’t going to be a part of this long-term rebuild.
#1 prospect Yusniel Diaz is tearing it up in AAA, but the plan is for him to stay there for at least half of the season.Comment

I had one from 2014 that somehow got corrupted so I had to start over in '16. Pissed me off...LOLI can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
