I drew SIX walks off the SD pitchers. Toussaint went 4 innings for me and gave up 6 walks of his own, yikes!

As 23 Nov 19 closes in marking the end of arbitration offers, only 2 major moves have been made so far.

In a surprising move the Blue Jays trade 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to Brewers for SP Michael Fulmer

Dodgers trade LF Michael Conforto to Tampa Bay for SP Jonathan Hubbard and RP Jose Alvarado. Alvarado is a much needed presence as a lefty in the pen and is deemed an upgrade over retired Rich Hill. The Dodgers will either try to immediately move Hubbard or he’ll begin the season at AAA OKC.

Cardinals lose Carlos Martinez to fractured wrist

The Cardinals placed Carlos Martinez on the 60 Day IL after the right handed suffered a fractured wrist on a line drive comebacker off the bat of Bryce Harper. In the 6th inning against the Phillies, Carlos Martinez threw a 98mph fastball that Harper lined right back up the middle, hitting Martinez on his right wrist and fracturing it.

Martinez is expected to be out until early July and may not return until after the All-Star Break.

The Cardinals have no made a corresponding move as of yet.

After seeing the offense being simply dominated by the Jays pitching in game one, someone must have broken furniture in the clubhouse after that game because the offense was firing on all cylinders in this one.
