Not too bad. There are quite a few 80s and 90s but it's not too outrageous. Bullpens are pretty accurate with some high 60s and 70s in there.

Franchise question: does Spring training performance influence the progression of prospects on your 40-man roster? Trying to decide if it's worth playing or simulating with the primary goal of improving prospects unlikely to make the 25-man roster. Thanks.

What roster are you using that has Lindblom???

Anyways, for me ill be starting my Brewers franchise once we get a really solid roster released and Armor or JoshC release their sliders. Ill be going with directional and classic pitching for franchise to make ratings truly matter, and zone hitting and pulse/meter pitching for RTTS because RTTS is your career so your actions should matter most.

I actually imported him from a 2019 roster. I can put him in the vault shortly.

Paddack vs Soroka 2 was just as good as the first, another pitchers duel where both guys got a no decision.

            Paddack - 6 IP, 3 H, 1R, 7K
            Soroka - 6 IP, 5H, 2R, 5K

Both runs Soroka allowed were solo home runs by Jurickson Profar. We had the lead going into the 8th when Andres Munoz blew the hold and the game giving up a 2R HR to Ozuna. Braves won 3-2

Cardinals come back against Nationals for 2nd spring win

After falling down 4-0 after the first inning and being down 5-1 heading to the 7th, the Cardinals (2-2) would score 6 runs over the next two innings to come back and beat the Nationals for their 2nd spring win.

Jack Flaherty got roughed up in the first inning giving up 4 runs on 5 hits. He surprisingly came back out in the 2nd and struck out the side to leave the game with a good feeling. Tyler Beede pitched the next two innings allowing a run on 2 hits and then the bullpen essentially shut down the Nats, although Corey Littrell did give up a solo homerun in the 8th. Roberto Osuna pitched his first inning of the year, securing the save only throwing 7 pitches to get the 3 out save.

Harrison Bader was the offensive standout for the Cardinals going 2 for 3 with 2 walks, 2 RBI's and scoring 3 runs. Juan Fabregas launched his first homerun of the spring as he gave the Cardinals the lead at 6-5 in the 7th. Connor Capel would hit his first homerun of the spring in the 8th to make it a two run game at 7-5.

The Cardinals play again tomorrow against the Astros. Junior Fernandez is expected to start.

Sliders Note: In the goal of achieving balance this year, I’ve increased the Human Hit Power and Solid Hits slider and decreased the CPU Hit Power. Hopefully in doing so, I’ll be able to get a fair ratio of “good” contact hits as well as GO/FO ratio. I increased pitch speed to 8, as I was getting an overwhelming amount of early swings and not enough late. Will test to see if that affects games in the future, so stay tuned.

                  Team: Minnesota Twins
Record to Date: 3-4, 4th in ALC
                  Series: @ Mariners

So to start off this series, it was evident that my offense wasn’t clicking on all cylinders though it was much better than the OAK games. Over the 3 games, I had 3 HRs, 13 runs, and 30 hits. Each game was pretty close, with the first 2 games decided by the 9th inning or later. The bullpen isn’t doing so well, with Taylor Rogers blowing 2 saves while playing 4 consecutive games. But he’s tied 2nd in the AL with 2 saves as well. Continuing the trend of players facing their former teams and playing well, Nelson Cruz took some pointers from the Bringer of Rain and had an excellent series. He went 6/13 with a HR, 4 RBIs and a BB. He also leads the team in AVG, sitting at .370. Eddie Rosario also had a good series hitting .500 in the 3 games. On the other side, the Mariners were hitting for immense power with 6 HRs in the series. They got on base a lot as well, smacking 32 hits. Unfortunately they were plagued by a lot of Ks, 30 in total.

                  Key Team Leaders:

                  AVG: Nelson Cruz, .370
                  RBI: Eddie Rosario, 5
                  Wins: Odorizzi, 2
                  Ks: Odorizzi, 16

The next series is at home against the Athletics again, who are 5-2.
                  MSE - DENVER BRONCOS, 47-22 (3-2, playoffs)
                  WWML - CAROLINA PANTHERS, 20-7 (0-2, playoffs)
                  NSML - DENVER BRONCOS, 27-5 (4-0, playoffs)
                  XML - DENVER BRONCOS, 51-17 (6-3, playoffs)

running into an injury bug in my franchise. Wil Myers heads to the 60 day IL with a broken foot and Trent Grisham heads to the 10 day IL with a broken finger. This is leading to the first call up for top prospect Taylor Trammell, much earlier than I planned on making him debut.

OF depth chart now looks like such:
                    LF - Pham
                    CF - Trammell, Lagares
                    RF - Cordero

I also have Josh Naylor on the roster (LF/1B) but he's been taking over first base duties because Hosmer can't hit and Naylor is. Profar will be the back up OF to all three spots.

I've had the injury bug too. Doing a Brewers franchise and I've already had Sogard & Garcia go out for 1-2 months and also had to put Hiura & Lindblom on the IL for shorter stints

                          Familiar Faces in New Places

Here's a look at some of the more prominent team changes for players in the 2025 season:

                          3B - Patrick Wisdom - Orioles

CF - Ronald Acuna Jr - Marlins

RF - Austin Hays - Marlins

                          3B - Anthony Rendon - Cardinals

                          3B - Alex Bregmann - Cubs

SS - Rafael Devers - Marlins

SP - Zack Wheeler - Tigers

SP - MacKenzie Gore - Tigers

SS - Christopher Torres - Angels

                          3B/2B - Mike Moustaukas - Tigers

SP - Jose DeLeon - Cubs

LF - Kyle Schwarber - Yankees

That is all I can remember off the top of my head.

I have a question about hiring coaches.

If a coach has say -3 velocity as a pitching coach, but it does not show up when hiring him as say third base coach, will the -3 velocity still be a "hidden" penalty against my pitchers?

                                My experience is no.

The only attributes that will be effected are the ones listed for the position you're hiring him into.
