Unless that left handed catcher is second in the league in home runs as Jack Clements was in 1893. I would think you would want a player like that playing every day.

They need to get rid of the different pitcher designations. No more SP/RP/CP. Let CPU teams decide based on pitchers set of skills, where and how to use them, rather than by their designation. Also, if we or the AI wishes to convert a reliever into a starter, said pitchers stamina should be able to be stretched out, by giving him some starts in the minors.

but I'd love to be able to put put Mike Squires at catcher for a game or two using classic historical rosters from the 80's. Benny Distefano also too as well in the 80's. Squires actually played 13 games at 3B, which you can have lefties at 2B/3B/SS in the Show thankfully

TRADES!!!! Please let us do complex trades. I'm sick of how limited trades are. We need to be allowed to trade draft picks and do PTBNL or cash trades. We also need to be able to pull off 3-team trades involving more than just 3 players per side. We can't do deals where it's 4 for 2 or 5 for 2 and things like that and it sucks.

Just an FYI, MLB does not allow the trade of draft picks IRL.

I believe it is also true that a player cannot be traded until they have spent at least 1 day on any roster in the organization, but that one I'm less sure about.

1) More wide variety of experiences facing different pitchers and hitters.
2) Increased and more intense minor league management
3) college/hs stats on players we are scouting
4) More creative Dev

I think they allow the competitive balance picks to be traded. I'm not sure about your other point.

I do believe the developers pay attention to this website because I've seen many things being pushed on this website become reality.

I'd like to see the OS people push for an answer as to why carry over saves will be discontinued and whether they will return.

You guys nailed everything I could think of so I’ll add a few small issues.
1. CPU issue where the relievers warming up aren’t always the pitcher put in the game.
2. Ability to set rotation where you move up an ace after off days and he doesn’t lose rating points because he’s not in the top slot. Same with batters losing points for batting in slot not set for a star. Example Judge batting 2nd loses points.

I read every one of these comments and it really shows how important franchise is to this group. So many great ideas. Love them all.

The only thing I can maybe add is a few items that were already mentioned, rotating interleague schedules, year to year saves, better cpu management etc....

1. Vastly improved AI in ALL aspects of the game, especially roster management. I can make boneheaded decisions myself, I don't need the cpu's help!

2. Increased roster size

3. Improved training, scouting, and regression/progression.

4. Rotating schedules and expansion/realignment.

5. Get rid of this weekly budget nonsense.

It seems like they've rewritten the code for franchise on PS5 which would be why year to year saves wouldn't work.

I believe they have said they hope to bring it back
