Anyway, I'm just hoping that they do continue improving Stadium Creator in years to come. I will happily accept resources used on that front if they can build more toward "being able to build a park as creatively as real MLB parks."



I don't know if we can truly ever get there, but one massive start would be putting bullpens behind outfield walls. Heck, there are a lot of things regarding outfield walls that still need to be addressed, though they probably got the most difficult one out of the way in being able pretty much adjust the walls however you see fit.

In one of the videos with Tatis and Coach weren't the placing solar panels in foul territory and the bullpens were not there meaning there should be more options as to where they are located?

I think you’re referring to this video and you’ll see the bullpens are down the left field line, solar panels are being placed beyond left field wall

I don’t think we’ve seen bullpens places anywhere besides foul territory

I'm really excited about this feature but I don't know if it's enough for me to get '21, might still hold out for '22. The loss of Y2Y saves did me in for this year. Honestly if they were smart, they should go ahead and say when they plan to bring back Y2Y saves because if we can still transfer '21's franchise to '22's I might still get it.

And to those who make fun of DINOs in the OF, I have a created team named the Raptors and was very happy to see that, so suck it.

How about a glimpse of these "new intros," "detailed stadiums/environments," and describe how the 3D audio is immersive for the game?

I just don't get how these are next gen features, but they don't discuss them in this stream. It makes no sense. I get wanting people to be excited when you load the game but, but zero discussion on these?

They clearly have a new scorebug as well....how about discussing the new presentation elements in the game?

That is why the stream was weak sauce. Went over really none of that in your list. When you put those out as bullet points....why would you not show it on your next gen feature stream?

I'm a guy who spends hours just creating rosters, logos, and uniforms for my franchise, so super excited to create stadiums for all my created teams, hundreds of hours just doing this.
I find it more entertaining than actually playing the game.

Bought PS5 for MLBtheShow only.

Simply unbelievable.... Did they really just shoehorned DD in the "next gen" stream? That is beyond absurd. Seriously to only show off the stadium creator, (which they have done for weeks now) and not mention anything else besides 1 minute of talk about the duelsense and then cut straight to DD talk, is a slap in the face to everyone looking forward to hearing everything about Next Gen.



I was looking forward to next gen baseball but if they can't even be bother to give a small ounce of details as to why next gen is better than last gen other than stadium creator in its own dedicated stream, and instead talk about DD, you lose me.



Is there any way to cancel pre-orders on the ps5?

I don’t agree with a lot of the whining in here but I definitely agree with this.

That’s all on the details for next gen? Just the stadium and controller? Doesn’t look like it’s worth paying 600-700 for at the moment. Probably a good thing cause there’s nothing available around here and will be for a while. Guess I’m sticking with the PS4 pro version since I probably won’t be playing with the stadium anyways. Only thing I’d be looking forward to is the real minor league stadiums especially for the Jays since they play away from home.

'Sim' is just a catch-all phrase at this point. It's so over-used as an excuse for everything people don't like that it's completely lost its meaning or relevance.

I'd much rather people say "I don't care about this feature" and leave it at that.

To be fair.. the 60FPS and 4K is worth the upgrade alone. Was on MLB 20 PS4 version playing on PS5. If 21 isn’t your cup of tea, people playing 20 on the PS5 will feel a huge upgrade instantly.

I bought a PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS4 Pro all for The Show. Now that it's no longer an exclusive, I won't be buying a PS5.

People are allowed to be disappointed, ya know, just like people are allowed to be excited.

Personally I don't really care about the Ballpark stuff so I'm just gonna keep playing 20 until the PC version comes along, hopefully next year.
