They were called lazy in this very thread. Not the first time.

They clearly were not called lazy. The poster said that a variety of factors could be behind the issue and included laziness as a possible cause. That is not accusing anyone of being lazy. It is stating it as a possible cause. That is obviously within the realm of constructive criticism.

Further, the poster stated this in a passing manner with no actual accusation. The poster innocently provided several possible causes as a means of understanding not accusation. Knock this crap off man. You are being pedantic and providing no constructive benefit to this discussion, which is about equipment. Not ridiculing users who enjoy discussing the equipment in the game.

85% of the last 7 pages have little to do with “New equipment” in the game.

More of sub social hierarchy and a bit of gatekeeping, regurgitation of the same 3 points over and over and over… and over and over and over.. like Marshawn Lynch once said since we aren’t talking about equipment or how to improve what we have to work with today.

At least the MLB season is off to great and entertaining start! Will the pirates be the new orioles? Anybody enjoy the rule changes


For what it is worth topic related. Baseball is a difficult sport giving the fact there’s different brands for every item with little crossover

Bats/tapes differ, gloves and guards differ, cleats and shades differ 5-10 brands per item then theirs the style guide.


I fall in the camp of it being annoying to see things that players don’t wear being showcased in game more than stuff 75 players use but is missing.

Doubtful there are any new equipment additions until the next patch. I would guess it will come sometime after Mother's Day since they always add the themed equipment after a holiday (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day, etc, plus the All-Star Game)

Im no raging conservative screaming freedom of speech, but when did calling someone something as benign as “lazy” spark the angry mob to attack?

Laziness aside, we can agree that SDS care for equipment pales in comparison to 2k. They literally release monthly shoe updates, sometimes shoes that have not even released. They provide a color wheel and the shoes have ,for some, like 30 different layers you can customize. They dont remove old shoes, for the most part.

Meanwhile, in mlb, every piece of equipment has an issue and we dont have the most worn nike cleat. So if its not lazy, its def a lacking of them really caring to spend time on it. And someone mentioned system limitations? Isnt that still their fault that their “system” cant house shoes with correct colorblocking? Shoes whos logo color can be changed?

Another way i feel lazy can kinda be attributed is that weve had the same UA and nike battling gloves for like 4 years now? And they have the same issues they always have. 4 years.

Lol. Where were you the last 4 years? Freedom of speech will soon be a thing of the past. I’d seriously wish for the equipment edits, we can upload photos of cleats, logos, or designs & make them our own, that way we can have the ability to get literally almost every equipment into the game possible.
