Why are you trying so hard to argue about this? Most people haven't noticed any changes. Most of the ones that had have backed up and said they got better results after a few games.

        "Most" ?

Is the "why are arguing" the new way to attack an opposing opinion? Any time I disagree with something , I got hit with the "arguing".

Like if you are saying you havent experienced change then nothing is wrong with that. I only have an issue with ppl then saying "look, I havent experienced change so that means your dreaming, you havent played enough, your settings (which makes no sense unless you changed your settings post patch).

Something else that changed for me post patch was the strikeouts looking for the cpu. I was getting way too many k's where the cpu just was not swinging at all. Post patch- I have noticed these have diminished significantly. Has anyone else been experiencing this?

The only person being combative in this thread is you.

The OP asked a question, people shared their experiences and offered suggestions. That is what the forums are for, or at least used to be and should be.

And its funny you take issue with people suggesting to play more games and see what happens, becuase the OP did just that and is now happy with the experience/results he's getting, all without making an adjustment to his current settings.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I have 0 problems with differing opinions. But it’s hard to deny most of your posts in this thread have been argumentative.

Re: Has something changed in hitting?

I think most of what people see vary simply because user skill level. Some are better hitting than others and some are just better pitching to the AI than others. All using the same interfaces. They would mention in a patch note if they changed hitting or pitching. In fact, they did for pitching so there's that.

If you can't hit, then you can easily raise contact slider. I've had it at 7 last year and for now again this year to get realistic results for ME and my skill level. I do drop timing to 0 to compensate but yeah... I just suck at hitting and can admit that. Pitching I am extremely good at classic apparently. So I need cpu offense sliders jacked up every year, along with lowered control and consistency. And still I'm getting 13+ Ks like every other game with any team I use. Had 16Ks on legend just messing around yesterday, lol.

It's all just skill level. Some suck. Some don't. Adjust what you need.

But yeah, hitting has been nerfed this patch.

If I am being "combative" , are you being "passive agressive" ? You said from page one that you haven't experienced any changes? Not sure what "look at my stats", told you nothing changed" accomplishes.

I was sharing stats, as others did, so that people could see my experience versus just reading that I'm not experiencing any changes. Then people if they felt compelled, could ask questions based on those stats, like how many homeruns in those hits, extra base hits, etc..

Seems you just have an issue with anyone who doesn't share your same opinion in that hitting has changed.

I can't hit anymore - Over 5 games in my franchise I only scored 4 runs made up of 3 solo HR and a sac fly. I'm not striking out a lot and am making same good contact with the ball but everything is an at'em ball.

Anyone else experience a noticeable difference in hitting recently?
I’ve noticed a difference too. I’ve been playing on default HOF. At launch I was seeing bloop hits down the line, liners that split the gap, homers at 95+ exit velo and now I have rarely seen any down the line hits, everything to the gap hangs up to be caught unless it’s a perfect perfect, and I’ve hit some balls at 95 exit velo and 30* launch angle that aren’t even making it to the track.

The biggest thing I’ve noticed is that way more often I’m seeing weak contact made on good timing with great hitters (I.e Jose Ramirez, Yordan Alvarez, Aaron Judge, etc.). I’ve been testing it out in game and in practice and it seems like way more weak contact is being produced than before.
