I understand it could be a line out or even a deep fly out, but I've been playing The Show for YEARS and this is the first year where the result of perfect/perfect just makes absolutely no sense sometimes.

It's funny how it only happens to hitters that are on somewhat of a long hot streak. Gotta find some way to keep those averages around a boring .250 I guess.
If that is happening then I would recommend saving a replay video of it and also taking a picture of the PERFECT/PERFECT recordings within the GAMELOG and submitting it SDS via their website (theshow.com) via bug report or general feedback.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I'm still hitting fine, but I've about given up on trying to make the CPU team put up any kind of threat at all. I've had a couple of games where they've been decent. But for the most part, if I score 3 runs I win.

I’ve yet to see this in any version of the game. Cap the video next time.

Yeah this is over the top. I've seen perfect perfect end up being an out. But a weak pop up? Nah.

I don't know. I have not personally experienced this.

But I will tell you that one of the first settings I turn off is all swing and pitch feedback. It will only anger me if I see I was just late on a center cut fastball or anything else. It made me stop worrying about things like this and just took it as an out. I also don't study the game log post game to see the perfect perfect hits in the game.

Turning off those feedback settings, which I did back in 19 for the first time, made hitting and pitching much better for me.

I don't use any feedback and always played with a completely clean screen. But I always go back and check when I think I get perfect/perfect.

Re: Has something changed in hitting?

I'm starting to believe there has been a hitting change. Wouldn't surprise me if an unintended change occured while they were adjusting something else. That's not an uncommon thing in games.

I've done many CPU vs CPU games to find the most realistic MoM/CpuVsCpu slider set. On week #1, with the only slider changes being: Contact - 6, CPU OF arm strength - 3

overall per game stats in 40 games played were

                    Runs - 4.86, Hits - 8.90, Home runs - 1.17, BB - 4.0, K - 9.13, BA - .259

Since then, over 60 games played, the overall offensive numbers are down across the board. Some, like home runs, aren't too significant. But others, like runs scored, is quite drastic, with the CPU now averaging less than 4 per game. I'm also noticing more weak ground balls being hit as well.

It’s in the game log. I’d be interested to see the exit velocities in his game log of these perfect/perfects. I’ve never seen anything with less than like a 103 mph exit velo on perfect/perfects.

Thing is….in all my years of playing this game starting with 20 and again with 22 I can feel good and great contact.

Can’t speak for 23 except the tech test (which is basically the same lets be honest).

You know when you groove a pitch vs not and the exit velo will tell you that.

Anway….I think the point some of us are making is take a more minimalist approach and play ball…..you may enjoy it more that way.

                              Good luck either way.

I can't hit anymore - Over 5 games in my franchise I only scored 4 runs made up of 3 solo HR and a sac fly. I'm not striking out a lot and am making same good contact with the ball but everything is an at'em ball.

Anyone else experience a noticeable difference in hitting recently?
I must Posted what you said but in MOM mode (redundant). My team has played 10 games with nothing. I know about random, been played SOM for 50 years.

                                Just odd
