Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
Oh it definitely does. That’s why I look past some of the IP issues because it’s going to be hard to replicate it. A lot of the roster movement has to to with pitcher options remaining, fresh arms vs rested arms, keeping unused guys active, and many other features. Just pointing out that the stats will never be as accurate just because of that lack of moves to the roster.Comment

Even if we had larger rosters, coding in all the situations for player movement would be difficult, especially for pitchers.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
First thing that just jumped out to me at the VERY beginning of this Feature Premiere when the gameplay of MIL and SF was shown.... looks like updated uniform templates for the jersey.
The pitcher definitely had a tighter fitting jersey. And some of the fold animations occurring on the jersey during his pitching motion looked updated as well.
Am I just completely wrong here? Bc I swear I'm not.Comment

Thank you for posting this! I was thinking "I hope I'm not the only one that noticed this, bc then I might be totally wrong." But I also put 560 hours into 24 and have been playing MLBTS every year consistently since 17.Comment

Re: MLB The Show 25 Deep Dive Franchise Front Office Experience
Stop mentioning me in your posts with the tongue in cheek insults and labeling me this or that. And also stop with the ignorant comments about why I was invited to CD event and my participation in threads.
You have no idea what is what, and I'd appreciate you stop speaking as though you do.
If your referring to the word “loyalist”, well I think your the only one who took that as an insult judging by all of the people who responded “I am a loyalist” lol. But okay. I won’t call you a “loyalist” anymore. There’s nothing “tongue in cheek”, flippant, or ironic about what I said. In all of the years I have been on this forum I have never even heard you say one thing critical about the show series. In fact you are very quick to defend, jump down peoples throats, or tell them how their opinion is wrong every chance you get. Cool, I support that.
Secondly, you are right. I don’t know why you were invited to the community event. I think I assumed like everyone else that because of your years of playing the game religiously, you probably are one of the foremost experts about the show and how its gameplay works. Shoot, I’d argue that you have probably seen just about every scenario possible since you yourself are an admitted “every game, every at bat” player. I admire that about you, and do not mean to disparage. Never one time since I have been on this forum have I ever heard you professing a knowledge for game development, software coding, or any thing related to that field. I am also not aware of any involvement you have in roster creation. So that is why I assumed your involvement was due to your expertise in the core gameplay. But I guess by assuming I made an (butt) out of myself.
I guess a joke that I thought was personally funny about how much you love and support the show was not well received on your end. maybe, our sense of humors don’t align, and maybe you take your love of the show a bit more serious than I realized and misjudged tha. But like I said, I really wasn’t trying to disparage, insult, or slander you. You got it. I won’t refer to you any further joking or otherwise. Best regards.Last edited by Therebelyell626; 02-27-2025, 02:19 PM.Comment

The belt loops on the pants are a dead giveaway that its changed, but the way the jersey sits on the torso and the tuck is noticeably different as well and IMO looks way betterComment

I like that they mentioned the CPU plays by the same rules as the user on the big board - it gets 3 slots to use and cycles players in and out of it as FA progresses. The less I have to house rule, the better.Comment

For all those worried about the contract value, this stream makes so much more sense. The fact that number can go up by at least 25% based on motivation is great. So we may think a top player wants a lower amount but might have to pay significantly more to get them. I’m surprisingly liking this way more than I thought.Comment
