The Reds Griffey (I think it's a Silver card) in his Immortal program is an All Star and he can mash. The Gold Jim Edmonds you get from conquest is the one that got most of my stats for me. Can't think of any others off the top of my head, but check in the team epics. Some of the 25% or 50% player rewards may be All Star outfielders if you're willing to put in the time and some more stubs. The Adam Jones reward for finishing the Orioles collection is also an All Star, but that would cost you a ton of stubs and wouldn't really make sense for you.

Still worth it for Griffey, only Immortal I'm doing this year.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
I hit a ton of home runs with Joyce as well. I just had his swing down, and he seemed to get everything in the air. Ashburn is a bit more of a challenge haha. Once I got Edmonds, I just hit Ashburn, Joyce and Edmonds 1-2-3 in Rookie games and got it done in fairly short order.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

Re: What are you working on thread
19, you need Edmonds big time.
You made me realize I took on a huge chunk in the Immortal arena. I'm going after Wagner/Griffey/Ripken/Jones/Gibson/Ryan/Piazza
I also might end up doing more...depends on the stubs I can make playing.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: What are you working on thread
I'm finally, mercifully done with Ripken's 25 doubles. Couldn't take him out of my lineup fast enough. Now I'm focused on getting to 85% in the Gossage program, which means a ton of saves for Gossage and Hoffman.
I've also decided to (gulp) go after the Rangers team epic. Napoli being an Indian and having outstanding hitting attributes against lefties and righties justifies the grind as I wait for more elite Indians players to drop. I'm at 50% already, so really it's just about compiling the at bats and the innings pitched. I'll probably hate myself by the end of it, but at least it gives me a focus while I wait.
P.S. The people hyping up Joey Gallo weren't kidding. Hit homers in my first three at bats with him, and have hit 12 in his first 30 plate appearances. Unreal.End Game Lineup: http://2kmtcentral.com/17/lineups/10...ine-end-lineup

Re: What are you working on thread
I mentioned it earlier, but now I'm going to ask. Does anyone have any tips on completing the Neil Walker challenge where he needs to have 4 hits in one game? I'm struggling to complete it.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Play the Rockies, away on Rookie
Bat him leadoff and if he doesn't get a hit in his first at bat, quit and retry
Stack the rest of your lineup with the best hitters possible in the hope of getting him more at bats, plus you might murder a relievers confidence and make it much easier to get hits with everyone including WalkerComment

Re: What are you working on thread
I'm gonna try to finish the conquest board before turn 12. It's turn 7 and the only west coast teams left are the dodgers, Padres, and Dbacks. Also gonna use this time to grind out some LHP holds, as well as whatever Career Arc/Immortal challenges I haveComment

Re: What are you working on thread
Decided to fo the Orioles epic , i completed the hitting stats alone with Machado and AS Jones without realising it so i thought i may as well complete it. That'll give me 5 completed epics (DBacks , Reds, Mariners and Indians the other 4) to put towards one of the immortals.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
Just got to 85 on my CAP Catcher
Next up: 315 innings and a lot of Salvador Perez at shortstop with Brian McCann at second base
my long term plan is to get to world series ASAP and then average about 3 games a day the rest of the month with the grind lineup so I don't go crazy. Then in June I'll be good to go from day oneLast edited by ph33; 05-17-2018, 12:50 AM.Comment

Re: What are you working on thread
It really is. They need to use some common sense on things like a certain amount of doubles rather than total bases, and the at bats requirement for team epics is just dumb. Someday they are going to get this right though.Comment
