Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread**
I got outbid on both Phillips and Beltran so we ended up getting no one from FA this year.Comment

I need a little help in my Mets franchise.
I want to get rid of Castillo...he's error prone, and batting .250. Any suggestions?Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread**
I think I may be able t make a trade for Adam Dunn. It might be a bit costlier than I had anticipated though. I can get him for Ryan Sweeney and Grant Green. I didn't really want to trade away Green if I could help it, but it looks like that might be what it takes. I can't get them (the Rockies) to budge on my pitching prospects. Is it too much for Dunn?Comment

As far as Sweeney goes, that's a no-brainer.
Do you think Green is in Ridin's roster? I mean, is he a real player?Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread**
Grant Green is an A potential SS in the OS rosters that has good contact, defense and very low power. He is basically Ryan Sweeney at SS, which is fine for a SS, but I figure he will not amount to much on this game due to the value of power on this game. I will probably pull the trigger on the Dunn trade. It will cost me 7.7 for one year of Dunn, minus the 1.5 of Sweeney's contract (Green is still signed cheaply).Comment

Or else risk the Angels or Mariners picking him up. Better you than them.Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread**
I went ahead with the trade and Dunn went 0-4 with 3 K's lol. No big deal though. I figure he will strike out a bit, especially before I get used to using him. It is only spring training anyway. Green must have been the key piece to this deal, as the Rockies DFA Sweeney right away. Dunn spent one year in Colorado, but didn't get much playing time behind Helton, only belting 11 homers. He should get a ton more playing time with us though.Comment

I offered the Royals my top catching prospect, I think something like Callapso for Gil Meche. Both Scherzer and Porcello suck and I'd like to get one in the minors.Comment

Re: **All Trades Discussion Thread**
Sorry for such a long post, but I figured I wouldn't get much help in the franchise progress thread on this. I'm looking for some suggestions on realistic trades in the relief pitching (mainly left handed) and corner outfield categories. Here's some of what I posted there:
I'm 40 games in, so I figured I'd share:
New York Yankees: 25-15
Team batting:
Avg: .267, 2B: 76, 3B: 5, HR: 49, BB: 125, SO: 293
Team pitching:
ERA: 4.19, QS: 22, CG: 2, SHO: 3, IP: 359, H: 377, HR: 47, BB: 145, SO:321
Problems:
Almost my entire bullpen. Ugh.
David Robertson and Damaso Marte have ERA's near 9.00
Nick Swisher is hitting .189
Brett Gardner is hitting .194 with 4 RBI (yes, not a typo, 4 RBI)
So, I really need to address some things here. My corner outfielders are giving me absolutely NO offense. And, other then Chamberlain, I really can't bridge the gap to Rivera. Kerry Wood has been iffy, at best. He's good for a K, but has allowed a ridiculous amount of hits.
Does anyone have any suggestions for how to address my outfield and bullpen issues? Are their any guys that I should try to trade for, or keep on my radar for July?
Cliff Lee's already on the block...and I would be willing to either trade Vazquez or place him in the pen (he's really my one weak link in the rotation, 5.83 ERA) but as long as the Rangers are in it, I think it would be unrealistic to pull the string on a trade there. Brian Fuentes would be ideal!Comment
