I would assume RTP being completely fleshed out the SCEA way...

Perhaps new player models... people have been begging for this.

I feel your pain on this one, as I've had it happen a few times and it can really be frustrating. But I have figured out how to keep it from happening - at least, it hasn't happened in a long time since I started doing this.

Instead of fielding the ball and then pushing the circle button (to which the 1B should either run to the bag or wait and toss to the pitcher), I now field the ball and manually move towards first a couple steps and THEN push the circle button.

The scenario you're talking about seems to only happen when the 1B is kind of on the edge of taking it himself vs tossing to the P, but in these cases (where he gets stuck and just stands there) he seems to always be close enough to take it himself. I've not had one single instance since I've started doing it this way where he gets stuck like that - he always covers the bag himself this way.

The other time the CPU hits a grounder that my first baseman fields and he just stands there and waits for the pitcher to come cover, cannot throw or make him run to the base. I just have to sit there and watch the runner make it safely to first when I could have easily run over to the bag for the out.

If they do weather, I hope they only do light rain, heavy rain, and maybe flurries only in first 2 weeks of April in east coast and northern cities. Simple programming logic there.

I don't want to see fog.

I do want games to start, light rain to start turning to heavy rain at times, and have the umps clear the field. A status screen would then come up and tell you if game is postponed, or they are resuming and you have the option to keep pitcher in or replace with new one (no warmup required).

Gameplay wish, I really want them to make some big changes. Get a batting oval (like someone mentioned before) similar to the Japanese game Pro Yakyuu Spirits, and all have ball physics like that game. Just watching video of Pro Yakyuu 2010 on youtube, the graphics, ball physics, and hitting engine look amazing.

None gameplay wise, defintely improve franchise and completely overhaul RTTS.

One big thing I want to see is Signature Stances/Deliveries. They still haven't gotten these right yet, espicially for some star players like Albert Pujols, Robinson Cano, Ichiro, there's just too many to mention.

I disagree on the ball physics with Pro Yak. I hate them. Maybe I didn't use the right example. I'd say graphics like pro yakyuu, but ball physics, hitting, and pitching from mvp. Heck, if they do end up going analog hitting, the analog hitting that was in the ncaa baseball games was pretty good IMO.

I am holding my breath for new player models and hitting interface. That to me is whats holding this game back from nirvana for me. I hate the t rex arms and square box shoulders and the square animation when a two handed swing is shown. Just my 2 cents. Its the only thing that keeps me playing 2k is the models and the texture of the game.

im confused at this...whats wrong with the players? are you talking about stances and pitching motions? i feel like for the most part, they are realistic as hell...can u explain what u meant? how would it look better then what it already does?

what i would like to see different is make it easier to hit using the outfield camera view...so many times im in a stadium and if a lefty is pitching, theres no way to see the ball out of the hand b/c of the signs in the background...

He means the actual shape of the players on screen.
SCEA has been wanting to change the model for a few years now....and people have been asking for a while now also.

Heres Hoping:

1) PATHETIC FIELDING ISSUES: a) balls down the line ALWAYS getting through on routine plays B) throws from the outfield NEVER being on target (unrealstic) C) outfielders ALWAYS having to touch the wall and waste time before turning around gunning down someone at a base. These are huge, when I have to pause the game to swap teams and correct things thats sad.

2)RTTS MAKE OVER: when 2k makes a mode superior in baseball games thats just not good news. Agree or not, RTTS needs work either way, START in MLB, or AAA at least as an option. have points given out easier, let you have the freedom of spending freely not this task every week crap. Also no penalties! if you dont do a few things here and there you shouldnt be penalized, its one thing to not give points for disobeying orders, but no need to take away points. Heres where Realism can make a Video game Tedious. Not fun.

3) REX HUDLER!!! STILL??? REALLY?: ever since 07 EVERY YEAR more and more people want him gone, he's beyond annoying, and turning him off with a code isnt good enough, that leaves empty audio spaces that are annoying as well. Just get rid of him, its not that hes a bad person, doesnt know baseball or any of that, its hes an awful announcer for a video game thats just it, hes the wrong person for the job!!! has been for years. SCEA team if you feel guilty well too bad dont let it affect your product thats rule number1. Might want to reconsider Campbell while your at it.

4) MINOR PRESENTATION IMPROVEMENTS: A) not a need but like its been stated, Celebrations of glory need to be amplified, especially winning the World Series.
B)Some more involvement with the newspapers and like everyone wants a sportscentre type of show covering the league (that might not happen till PS4 Id guess)

5) PLAYER MODELS: Lots of requests for this one, I like the faces for sure, however the bodies could be better, something tells me this is the year it finally will happen.

Improve the realtime feature. Far from being perfect but love the idea and what we have now is a good start. The HR run animation bug is annoying but that would be fixed easily I guess.

And please add a No Replay option to the Broadcast presentation.
