Started again with a closing pitcher 'Rico Vatto'.

Drafted by the Mets, played 12 games for the Binghampton Mets, IP 14.2, 1 BB, 14 K, 1 SV, 1 Blown save, ERA 0.61.

    Traded to the Indians.
    Premier League: Sunderland
    NHL: Boston Bruins
    MLB: Boston Red Sox
    NBA: Orlando Magic
F1: McLaren (Button) and Mercedes (Hamilton)

First time in my career i have taken part in Spring Training. Only played one game so far .500 with a HR. Gonna do wonders for leveling up haha. Already have 3 training sessions in one week.

Can anyone answer why my PCI is much smaller against MLB pitchers. Do pitchers effect my PCI?

Yes, I've noticed that the PCI shrinks agasint pitchers with higher H/9 and K/9 attributes.

It annoys me. I think my plate vision also plays a part in the size of the PCI. I've noticed in exhibition games that people with small PCI's don't necessarily have a low contact rating but do have a low Plate Vision rating.

When you are in the minors your difficulty rating is actually lower that what you have it set to, so as you move up the ranks your difficulty goes back to what your settings are. So that might explain it, unless you are seeing smaller PCIs per pitcher in exhibition/franchise mode too, then it must be pitcher specific. I know plate vision plays a big role in the size of your PCI.

Finally got called up to majors after four years in minor leagues! I'm currently a SS/3B with the Royals. Started out with Nationals, got traded to Twins and Athletics but never broke through to the show. I really like Kaufmann Stadium and the retro design and style. Score board and water features are super cool!! This game owns me right now.

Started a 2B/SS that got drafted by the Indians(ugh) but I chose Mauer's swing and after two games, wow. In two AA games so far I have six hits in nine trips with five doubles and seven RBI's. At first I thought maybe when I was messing around with max sliders those were still in effect but I checked and they were still default.

So I don't know if I am just getting lucky or my natural timing with Mauer's swing is just a perfect fit but it seems every swing so far is just getting launched into the gap or hitting the wall. Guess I will see what happens in the next few games.

Is this correct? I swear I just pushed up to throw home, and my guy whirled and fired to second base. Though I'm pretty sure first and third are left and right, respectively. As good as this game is, it's sure not accommodating to newer players.

2B/SS now with the reds AAA affiliate..... Had a horrible day today, my avg. went from .306 down to .270. Displayed lots of warning track power and struck out a lot..... so to try and get out of my slump i tried a few new batting stances and nothing worked. I just had to take a break, I'll try again tonight and see what happens.

Not sure if this was mentioned before but I think it might be a glitch with RTTS. Everytime I get the hit and run signal from the 3rd base coach, the guy at first takes off. If I don't make contact on the ball and he reaches second safely, he takes off on the next pitch to try and steal third. I don't know if its a glitch or I supposed to keep trying the hit and run until I make contact. It doesn't make sense that he gets into scoring position and then tries to get to third without me having a chance to wait for a good pitch. Anyone else experience this???

This could be a tip for anyone who wants to make the big leagues quick!!

I created a starting pitcher and was drafted by the Rays. I spent $0.99 hard earned monies on training points right away to increase stamina. Cant stand missing locations after 3 innings of work. Lol. Anyways, started in AA Bullpen. Met advancement goals. Made Rotation. JUST before the All-Star game, i got called up to AAA (i was pitching really well in AA. Sub 3 ERA and about a 1K/INN). Got to AAA. I did ok. I made the rotation somehow. I was ok. Met my goals so i guess thats why. Pitched alright during my rotation stint. Nothing special. Somehow got called up in August to the Show. I dont know how. No rhyme or reason. No injuries. Just alot of real life pitchers were traded. (again with the awesome trade logic of this game). Well i did even worse in the Bigs. I wasnt ready. I wanted to get sent back down so i can do better for more training points. Never happend. Season ends

So then i sign a contract for AAA rotation. Im thinkin "alright now i can really build up my attributes" WRONG! begin season in MLB bullpen. I know i will be a starter after first advancement period because KYLE FARNSWORTH is the #2 pitcher. WTF right? Its really odd and the pitching of the team is not very good other than David Price. So now im the starter with a 2.87 ERA but thats only cuz of my relief appearances keeping it down. Im averaging more like 3 runs during a 7 inning stint. Not terrible but id like to do better. I always seem to get taken yard. And freakin some ahole hits a double then the next guy hits a weak grounder through a hole and theres a run. Lol. Pretty annoying. But my defense picks me up alot too. Id rather spend one more year in AAA to get where i can pitch better in the MLB. Oh well.

So maybe those SP RTTS dudes should try the Rays out. Hell, i didnt even want to promote and I did. Lol

I really wish we could get a statement from russell on this, but while playing RTTS, why the heck is change position even in there? it doesnt work. ever. i had been running test after test, and no matter what, it will not change positions. this after 15 seasons.

my primary pos is 2B. my secondary is CF.

so i go to spring without a contract. i choose a team that is very DEEP at 2b and thin at CF. after playing all the way deep into july, it still refuses to switch me. all my fld attributes are maxed. there is no one in CF and the team i am on, boston, has 3 high skill 2nd basemen, yet it will not let me change.

this is one busted, flawed and SUPER frustrating aspect. has anyone ever, in mlb 11, successfully got a change in position when asked??? this is just non sense.

Is it worth it to keep going in my RTTS? I was waiting for the major patch that covers the 2013/14 glitch.

I haven't played in 2 weeks and don't know if I can wait much longer especially with the MLB season starting in a few days.
I'd like to talk to you about a serious problem. Packs of wild dogs that have taken over most of the major cities.

My SS just got called up to AAA thanks to the White Sox organizations trades. They traded Alexei Ramirez for Chris Perez of the Pirates. And Gavin Floyd and Jeff Gray for Michael Hopkins of the Cardinals. Of course I've asked for numerous trades, but to no avail. So i'm stuck with this last place team I guess. I've killed it in AAA though here are my stats.

                              G 13
                              AB 57
                              AV .368
                              H 21
                              R 12
                              2b 1
                              3b 2
                              HR 8
                              RBI 22
                              SB 1
                              SO 3

I'm really trying to cut down on my strike outs. I had a SO percentage of 12% before my call up to AAA.w

I've seen this too. Not sure if it happens every time or not. Usually when I miss the runner is out.
