The ball just melts into the sky and I can't pick it up until it's halfway to the plate.

Very frustrating....have resorted to simming all home games.
Say no more. I've got a 1B in the Rockies system (looking forward to getting a chance to maybe play IF with Tulo and Arenado, doing for Colorado what Rollins/Utley/Howard did for Philly), and the Rockies AA ballpark features one of those low fences. Apparently minor league games are rarely played at night, so when we go home, I'm reduced to a mere singles hitter. Can't wait until I go to Colorado and my home ballpark actually helps me more than it hurts.

I'll probably get traded to Oakland soon. -sigh.-

WHy is it when I have a great hitter I always get stuck on teams with terrible pitching? The M's traded Felix for Josh Beckett. Im a sox and that would never happen. And not to mention I'm in 2014 when this happened they did it at 2013's deadline, with me in pipeline. It's so frustrating we have a top 5 offense because of my guy and get no support what so ever. /rant

Traded from NYY to LAA. Still can't hit at double-A, though... (down to about .210)

2B/SS Twins: Just after the All Star break of my second season and I got the call to go to the bigs. I was hitting .350 13 HR's and now after about 12 games I'm hitting .110 with 2 HR's. I'm getting killed by big league pitching. A few more weeks of this and I'm sure I'll get sent back down or even traded come the trade deadline.

Started up a 2nd RTTS with a starting pitcher... Randy Johnson. Drafted by the Red Sox. Should have picked Seattle since no Expos, but figured I'd get traded any way. Started off with a 4-seamer, slider, and splitter. 6 innings, 5 hits, 1 run, and 9 K in my first start. Seemed reasonable as I got pulled with about 95-100 pitches. Was up 4-1 before the team lost 5-4 in extras. I'd say a bit better than Randy Johnson's actual first minor league season so far. In 8 starts, he only pitches 27.1 innings, gave up 29 hits, 24 walks, 22 runs, and had only 21 strikeouts. Very un-"Big Unit" like.

What happened to your numbers actually counting for something? I'm hitting .385 and I'm sitting on the big league bench, while the guy getting my playing time at Shortstop is hitting .185. Yet the manager says he is "Playing solid." I would love to know why the manager interactions are put in this game every year when you ALWAYS get shot down.

I usually choose the Phillies, but I always get traded. So I decided to go into the draft, and got drafted by the Yankees. I figured what the heck, I'll just stick this out, at least the Yankees have a good team. Well they traded Jeter, and Arod (fine by me) And called me up. Go figure, just like every other year, the pitching STINKS. The team is 1 game over .500 and the Blue Jays own the AL East. Why is it every year no matter what team I play for, the pitching is awful? I think this game mode has gone down hill every year. Let's bench the guy hitting .385 while we have one of the worst lineups in the league hitting .210 as a team. Yea the GM/Manager AI was really improved. Man sports games are a scam.

My SP is currently 2-3 in AA with the Houston Astros organization. I started out with All-Star difficulty using Pulse Pitching and I threw a 7 inning shutout while only allowing 2 hits and no walks, so I thought it was too easy.

Was I wrong. The next game with difficulty bumped up to Hall of Fame I gave up 8 runs in just 3 innings. I'm back down to All-Star pitching and having realistic stats, though I'm not throwing many walks. My last 2 starts I have been getting no run support.

My ERA is around the 4.30 mark.

Wow!! Team just went on a 10 game losing streak, and didn't start me ONCE. I'm hitting well over .300 and picking up RBI's and extra base hits like crazy! I have accomplished all of my goals 4 straight times now, and I've got the best numbers on the team. And he tells me "You're not quite there yet" Well I've about had it with RTTS, sticking to franchise from now on.

On top of all that, when I actually get some playing time at SS. I get 1 maybe 2 fielding opportunities a game. And everytime it's the same thing. Or I won't even get to touch the ball, the pitcher or 3rd basemen will field it. This game mode is supposed to be about YOU. There is no variety in the fielding opportunities what so ever, it's the same plays over and over, and thats if you even get a fielding chance at all during the game.

Ughhh! I`m so pissed, i just got traded to the Brewers from the Orioles. I was looking forward to playing with Baltimore, and i was tearing it up in triple A. I played my whole RTTS career in the N.L. Central last year with the cubs, and now back there again in this game.

Yeah I'm starting to get there myself. My guy isn't doing nearly as well as yours is, but I'm getting increasingly frustrated with playing time.

I was the starter and got hurt for a month or two. Now I play maybe twice a week and despite getting all four of my objectives, I was "Sub-par" on my last review. Don't know what else I could've done, maybe get a hidden goal or something.

So I'm stuck behind two guys I have better ratings than (I'm awful, but the Angels' second basemen are terrible) and can't get playing time. I'm the second-best 2B in the whole organization, but I just spell the MI's.

Halfway through my first season in AA with the Mississippi Braves, and have finally started hitting a bit better. My average is 304, 2 homers, and 25 RBI's. I seem to have warning track power, as even when I hit it well, it dies before the wall. It leads to a lot of doubles, but also a lot of flyouts.

Got drafted by the Pirates, spent one month in AA and then got called up to AAA. After one month in AAA I have been traded to the Rays. Alright, I guess.

Update: 4 days later, i get called up to the bigs, and i am a full time starter. First at bat, i hit a 466 feet bomb to center.

I still wish i did not get traded though.

Edit: I finished that game with 3 homers. I've never had 3 homers in one game, not even in the minors.

Made the futures game and started year 2 at AAA

Big difference in terms of the pitchers - I am awful so far - Hoping to make a big impression to stay up.

The pitches are faster in AAA - Makes me shudder at the bigs.
