I was able to go ahead and send Dice K and Lackey to the Braves for Hudson and Randall Delgado. Not a bad return for Boston's crap

If you were the Brewers GM and I called you offering a quality #2/3 starter for a middle reliever and a mid-level prospect would you accept it?Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I just lost McCann for two months, seperated his shoulder in a collision at the plate, at least he held on to the ball... If I had it to do over I would have just gone to first and concede the run.
Anyway, I'm looking for a two month rental catcher. It is May 26 in my Braves franchise, i play every major league game, sim the minors. I want a realistic trade, Ross is really slumping or I would start him. I am willing to trade a C or B RP, don't want to give up too much.
Anyone have any ideas? I am open to trading other positions, just thought trading a RP made the most sense.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Marmol just gave up a 5 spot in the 9th. Came in tied 1-1. This is on Opening Day by the way. Too early to start up trade rumors? I'm placing him on the block tomorrow. Start throwing out some trade rumors...
By the way, he did not record an out. Had to bring in Wood.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Would you do McCarthy to Cincinatti for Ryan Madson and a C prospect?
That would give me Madson as closer, Balfour set up, and Fuentes as a lefty specialist
Cincinatti is 52-34 at the All-Star break, 2.5 back of Milwaukee.Comment

The Reds have like 7 major league worthy SP's on their rosters and you wanna trade them another one for their closer when they're 2,5 games back? Sure, depending on the status of the Reds starter, some might be injured or what not, Madson is staying until the Reds really fall out of contention. If they were like 8 games back you'd think they'd wanna move Madson to save some cash but in return you'd have to pony up prospects, not a guy like McCarthyFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.
