Congrats on screwing over the CPU.

Traded a 33 year old pitcher with injury problems for a 24 year old Ace and Murphy for the Ace of Tampa when they already have Keppinger/Elliot Johnson/Zobrist who can play 2B.

Agreed. That's why I play with force trades and CPU Trading off. Trade logic is ridiculous, people shouldn't be taking advantage of it.

Anyone got any thoughts on Joe Mauer? He's injury prone, in a fairly long slump, at a new position, has a TERRIBLE contract, but he's still a billion times better than Adam Lind......

How realistic would it be to trade Ryan Zimmerman? His hitting has been torrid, and I'm pushing for the playoffs. So I've been considering trading him in a package to the A's for Cespedes (where I can put in left, and move Morse to third) and a couple of vets.

considering the Nats signed him to a 2342893 year extension, not very realistic

I say no, he's still the face of the franchise. I can't imagine him anywhere but Minnesota.

I want to trade for a right handed power bat to plug into left field or first base because I haven't been able to get anything going. This is where I turn to you guys.

I really want Andruw Jones. He is doing OK for New York and not playing very much. Would it be fair to take him away from the Yankees? They aren't really hurting at any position like they are in real-life except for maybe a Starting Pitcher because I knocked Pineda out for the year. I am also considering guys like Gomes in Oakland, Heisey in Cincinnati, and Josh Willingham in Minnesota.
While I try to come up with some better options, are Vladimir Guerrerro or Mark DeRosa available? I realize Vlad is essentially DH only, but you may be able to pick him up from the FA pool.

What teams are 'out of it' out of it?

Gomes is definitely a decent option, by the way. As is Willingham.

Willingham is still probably your best choice so far. But, here are some to add to the list:

                          Corey Hart
                          Edwin Encarnacion
                          J.J. Hardy

Though I'm not sure if Hardy has enough pop or if Encarnacion is still cheaply under Blue Jay control. You may need to give up a lot to get him regardless though...

Anyway, just putting them out there.

Hardy def has enough pop although he isn't a LF or 1B.....i dont think it'd take a lot to acquire Encarnacion

Yeah...Sorry, I'm aware of that but should have said I was just posting decent RH power options. Not ones specifically designed around his ideal specifications.

Thanks for clarifying that for him. My bad.
