Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Ok, lets get back to baseball here... Don't want this thread to get locked or see anyone banned.

I'm the pirates looking for a good young right handed 1B to add to the club. He doesn't have to be all world, just a decent, inexpensive player. I don't want to give up Cole, Taillon, or Bell but I wouldn't be apposed to shipping out Hanrahan, Tabata, Presley, or Marte.

    Any suggestions?

Try James Loney from the Dodgers. Billy Butler from KC, but that might take some prospects.

I would love to get him, but he'd be too expensive. Just looking for some other ideas. I considered Moreland from Texas as I feel he could be had, but he's a lefty and I really could use a righty.

I noticed that in game, fielding abilities matter much less than IRL...last year won a gold glove with David Ortiz at first....

Lars Anderson would be a young and cheap option from the Red Sox.

Which was why I was surprised when Trumbo got moved to third by the Angels, instead of getting DH. But anyways, back to te trade...

Brett Pill from the Giants and Jesus Guzman from the Padres are other RH options

I thought about Butler too, but I would feel bad for him, he's been on terrible Royals teams and just when they start getting good he gets shipped to the pirates, that might be grounds for suicide. I can't hit with Carter (traded for him in another'chise), Pill might be an option, does he have any pop?
