Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
This. After ST, teams prepare for the draft. After that, they try to sign picks. Then, the deadline deals start to warm up. The Carlos Lee deal is the earliest date to consider and that was pretty early. If the Astros are obviously sellers already, then use that date as a gauge.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
No starting pitching or more outfield tbh. Look at infield positions like 3rd base and the middle infield. What team are you, Royals? The Moose would definitely have to be included in that trade.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am wanting to trade Chris Iannetta back to the Rockies. I would like to pick up 2 former Angels prospects in return. They are Tyler Chatwood and Brandon Woods.
Tyler Chatwood = B Potential
Brandon Woods = D Potential
Chris Iannetta = B Potential
What else would I need to make this realistic? Maybe a C starting pitcher? I know getting Brandon back isn't realistic. But I will put him up in AA and depending how he performs depends on if i resign him.
Thanks guys.PSN Name - xboxxerx

2 starters and two good prospects. Preferably a 3B somewhere in there."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
So I am about 2 1/2 weeks from the deadline in my new Astros franchise and was looking around for prospects I could send Wandy for. He is pitching fairly well so far ..
6-8 3.23ERA 85K's 24BB's 1.13 WHIP 119IP
I know I should be able to get 2 B's for him, but I was wondering if I include a prospect or two could I pull an A? I was thinking somebody like Jonathan Villar B Potential (no use with Correa), Delino Deshields Jr B potential, Telvin Nash B Potential, Fernando Martinez B potential.
Could I pull a low A with 2 of those guys added to the mix or probably not? I'm talking prospects not MLB ready talent. If not its cool I'm looking for realism, just trying to get the most bang for my buck.Comment

Not with the way hes playing right now...if you're looking at prospects I say 2 HighA's and 1 low A. Along with 2 mind B's
If you're looking for MLB ready I say 2 would be enough for his talent...3 is too much IMO
It also determines what the team acquiring upton has on the farm and if they have enough ppl to fill holes after giving up "the house" for himLast edited by iRepIndiana; 07-12-2012, 08:37 AM.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Mets franchise I'm thinkin about going for Shane Victorino.. I have Zach Wheller and another A poyential starting pitcher prospect.. Would those 2 A potential prospects be enough? My only untouchables are Wright, Santana, Davis, and possibly Bay... Thanks in advance..Madden 25 - Steelers

Regardless I'll just go after the two B's. I'm thinking of maybe bolstering my bullpen a bit.Comment
