Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
What do you guys think about this deal:
Jeremy Hellickson (2-5, 4.70 ERA) for Aaron Loup (4.09 ERA), Kyle Drabek (2-1, 3.61 ERA - AAA) and Darren Oliver (1-2, 1.36 ERA)?
The Rays are in last place in the American League East and they are definitely going to rebuild. I am currently trying to hold a one game lead over the New York Yankees for first place in the American League East.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hmmm.... When I said Hutchison is a high B, he's a borderline high B. But I like this deal better since I don't have Jimenez as part of my future plans anyways. Is there anyway to get a catcher back though or will I have to resort to the FA pool to add another catcher?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
At the deadline in my mariners franchise and I'm lookin to send off these players and get some prospects in return
Kendrys Morales (Smoak hitting over .300, top 10 in HRs): .259 AVG, 9 HR, 49 RBI
Mike Morse (want to open up a spot in the OF for Ackley so I can move him there and call up Nick Franklin): .263, 14 HRs, 46 RBIs
Endy Chavez: limited playing time, but in about half out teams games he has a .288 AVG, 14 SBs and 4 HRs
Jason Bay: (21 G): .333, 0 HRs, 3 RBI. should I just release him?
Franklin Gutierrez: .256 from the leadoff spot and has played every game. 10 HR and 42 RBI also plays great CF and can play RF/LF too
Oliver Perez: 49.1 IP, 3.66 ERA
Now this may be the biggest surprise, but HUMBERTO QUINTERO is hitting .311 while starting about 3/4 of my games behind the plate. As of now I know he's in the top 10 for BA. Could I realistically get anything from him provide those numbers? I'd like to trade him so I can call up either Zunino or Sucre based off stats.
Teams in contention:
Tigers
Indians
Yankees
Red Sox
Rays
Giants
Dodgers
Nats
Phillies
Mets
Braves
Cardinals
Reds
Pirates
I was thinking about Morse, and was thinking about either the Rays, Indians, Giants, Mets, or the Pirates. I'm thinking the Indians because they need a 1B/DH, or the Rays because they could use a DH. The NL teams have needs in their corner outfield spots, but I dot want to make them go what I've been through and play him out there every day.
I was thinking about these:
1.)
SEA: Morse
for
PIT: either Pepper Altuve or Kyle McPherson
(One is a stater, the other is a reliever. Both in AA. They actually could've been drafted in the draft but their potentials may h the spreadsheet)
2.)
SEA: Morse
for
Mets: P Angelo Demain? Never heard of him but he's 19 and may also be a drafted player. Also matches the spreadsheet
3.)
SEA: Morse
for
SF: 2B/3B Brock Bond. Looks like a Kyle Seager type player. He's not a drafted player but matches the spreadsheet.
4.)
SEA: Morse
for
CLE: (drafted player) P Urban Beiriger (matches spreadsheet)
5.)
SEA: Morse + Quintero (frees up another spot for a catcher)
for
TB: INF Shawn O'Malley + RP Lance Pendleton
And lasty, sorry for the super long post.Last edited by HadlerT; 08-25-2013, 03:25 AM.Seattle Mariners|Seattle Seahawks

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Here are some trades I can think of for you, Hadler.
Kendrys Morales to the Rays for Alex Colome.
Mike Morse and Endy Chavez to the Mets for Luis Mateo + Hansel Robles.
Jason Bay, release him lol.
(If you're using 30 team control) Franklin Gutierrez to the Reds for Nicholas Travieso. Switch Shin Soo Choo to LF.
(If you're not using 30 team control) Franklin Gutierrez to the Giants for Michael Kickham.
Oliver Perez to the Tigers for Casey Crosby.
Humberto Quintero to the Rays for Tim Beckham."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Rolling with 30-team control and this trade popped up: Jon Niese to the Rockies for Drew Pomeranz. Niese is 1-7 with a 3.30 ERA and 60 strikeouts and Pomeranz has a 4.32 ERA in AAA. The Rockies are in 4th place in the NL West, 6.5 games behind the Dodgers. The Mets are in second place but are 5.0 game back of the Nationals, with the Braves trailing the Meta by just 0.5 games. Should I let this deal go through?Comment
