I fiddled with PS4. I liked it, would love to have it, but gotta wait for it.

I think if the release dates for the 2 consoles have a wide enough gap then some of those with both consoles will not be able to restrain themselves from purchasing the ps3 game and playing it until the ps4 game is released.

ps3 here.
i never buy a system in the first year.
ps1 was the only one.
got that on launch day in 95.

too many features missing from the ps4 that the ps3 has..
plus a backlog of games, and a version of the show that has hit an all time high in terms of features and fun are keeping me on current gen for a bit longer.

plus my body isnt ready for 50 gig installs just yet.

Same thing here. The ps4 isn't going to be perfected for a few more years, plus the very first next gen game is usually the same game (sometimes even worse) than the old gen version, just with better graphics. The Show 14 is going to be awesome on both, I probably won't buy a ps4 until a couple years after they stop making ps3 games

Man Im lucky if I get to play once a day.
I only buy 1 game every year and thats The Show.
Any other game I buy, I buy used.
The only game I ever buy new is The Show and thats always on release day.
Most games I have are 3-5 years old, except The Show.

The ps4 isn't going to be perfected for a few more years

Its also not going anywhere. It will still be here when we're ready for it.

I know my local Best Buy ps4 demo units have all sorts of ps3 gameplay video's. Is it possible you were watching a video of Nhl for ps3

I bought my PS3 in 2008.

I will say though, I was going to wait for PS4 until black friday, but I know for an absolute FACT that when I see PS4 gameplay/screenshots, and compare them to the PS3 The Show '14 videos/screenshots, there will absolutely no way I can sit and play the PS3 knowing there is a MUCH better looking, smoother, more crisp version on PS4.

I said it before on here I'll say it again. I'm a college student with a part time job and not a crazy amount of hours per week, but I'm saving up little by little every paycheck. Only a few more paychecks and I'll be good to go. Once I hear the release date tomorrow, I'll know when I can expect to make my purchase
