I saw he was a B- potential? I think Almora should be a 67, Hawkins a 62 and bump up Naquin to say a 59. He doesn't hit for power but if he could start you could see him in the same class as some of the upper end guys. Didn't hear that he was suppose to be the first college bat from that draft in the majors. What is his ETA. Just looking at his stats and what not I would say he might be in the bigs by 2015 at the earliest. Could be dead wrong as I don't know a whole lot about the guy.

I think a 67 might be a little high. I would be willing to give up to say a 63 maybe 64 to start the year off.

In this years Baseball America prospect handbook hes listed as the teams number 3 prospect and I dont recall if its in his scouting report or the rundown of the teams 2012 draft it projects him to be the first bat from the class to make it up. I havent researched it to see if anyone else says it (i know theres lots of sickels fans around these parts) but just pointing out where I read it.

Does anyone actually ever get five or six years into a Franchise anyway before next years Show comes out? And if you do, how many games do you actually play? Seems like you'd be simming a lot, and you'd miss out on getting a feel for any of your players or team.

Yes I play at least 4. Yeah I play one and then sim 5. I don't think I miss the feel I play 30ish games. This allows me to pitch with all of the starters 5 or 6 times a year. I think if I played every game I would only play one season and I would be able to get the Cubs into the playoffs or at least get close. I feel when you sim that many games your true team comes out. Plus it is fun to get the young guys up and it will allow you to develop players you draft as well. Most likely only from the first draft you did but oh well.

Maybe I'm the only person who found it hilarious that a player would charge another dugout with a bat, or maybe I just don't think my teams players are infallible and get butt hurt when someone shows me a funny news story about it.

If a Sox prospect grabs a bat and charges a dugout, you can rest assured I'd tell everyone about it. Notice I didn't even say anything bad about Soler either, I just laughed at the absurdity of the story and related it to the context in which we just had a 5 day discussion. Yeah, and a grown man charges the mound which results in a serious injury but I bet that's no big deal. He's young, he's a competitor, it's the first sign of any mental problems, attitude wise. He'll be fine and this will help him.

What do you guys think about Eric Jokisch since he was added in the last update? Haven't heard much on him but from his numbers he looks like a decent little pitcher.
