Played another game with these sliders with just the minor adjustments that I have mentioned before and had another good game. Wow the Giants are terrible and the Pirates aren't much better. I was the Pirates and really cruised the whole game but was facing Cain and it was hard to get anything going against him.

I have both set to off but can still see the strikezone immediately after the catcher catches the ball. It shows me where the pitch broke etc. and a greyed out strikezone appears until it disappears again after a few seconds.

I do not think you can get rid of that totally. You definitely have the pitch call out to off?

I mean, come on, 8 hits, and you think thats too many? Can you imagine how many times in his career Oswalt has gone for 8 hits or more? Lots and lots will be the answer!

Now if it happens EVERY game then its a problem, but now and then its not.

People really do jump to silly conclusions way too quickly based off 1 or 2 games where stats have gone "wrong" in their opinion.
Speaking of jumping to conclusions, if you actually looked through the thread I've tried out these sliders several times. The 8 hits would be acceptable. Unfortunately 8 was the minimum number of hits against him in a couple games played.

Nemesis, are you on PS2 or 3?

Joe C, can you make a list of the adjustments you've made. Your results are looking pretty solid?

                        ps3!

As far as things tweaked, he uses set 1 for the user, the timing window at +4 (user) and I believe he upped the pitch speed.

*Maxed Out CPU Hit Qualtiy as per usual
                          *Pitch Speed +7 (17)
*I no longer take leads on the base paths. (makes you think twice about stealing)
                          *Human Hit Quality (-10)

                          *Human Timing Window (+4)

                          *CPU Pitching Aggression (-10)

If anyone wants to try them I am going to put them on Sports Connect as"Puresim Final Set" Thanks again Nem.

The changes that I have made are
                            Hum Hit Quality -10
                            Hum Pwr +1
Hum Time Window +4 I do believe this should be adjusted based on an individuals hitting skills I believe anywhere from -2 to +5 would be good for this
                            Plate Vision -5
                            Pitch Speed +5 to +7
CPU pitch aggr -10 which I believe is what it is set at on the front page now
                            CPU Pwr +2
I also use API on I just like to let the Catcher call the game for me.
I lowered CPU and Hum baserunning speed but cant remember the exact changes I felt that to many double plays were being beat out by slow baserunners.
I lowered Hum field speed to -8 i believe and thats the only changes that I made.

They are all playing out very well. There have been about 3 games that I havent taken the time to post. One of those the CPU beat me something like 9-3 and I have had a game where I won 11-4 and then the other was 4-3.
Here is a box score from a game that I just completed.
