Try it on all-star and see if you get these outbursts.

Remember though even Oswalt can have a bad game and does have bad games. Now if you are getting 9 runs and 19 H off of him on a consistent basis then yes there is a problem. I am afraid people are having a big game and then changing their sliders because they had a big game teams do have big games and great pitchers do have bad games. Its best to stick with a set of sliders make a few minor changes here and there and test them out over a large number of games. Now I am not saying that this is what you are going to do but I feel a large number of people do this. They will have a huge game off of a great pitcher and think dang something must be off but in baseball there are games like that. Thats why its best to test over a large number of games. Again if you are getting this consistently then there is something wrong but one huge game against a great pitcher doesnt mean anything really other than you had a good game against a good pitcher.

Very true! You need a good 5-10 games without moving anything in order to get a feel for what is wrong or right.

Absolutely, agree, which is why statements like this baffle me...

I mean, come on, 8 hits, and you think thats too many? Can you imagine how many times in his career Oswalt has gone for 8 hits or more? Lots and lots will be the answer!

Now if it happens EVERY game then its a problem, but now and then its not.

People really do jump to silly conclusions way too quickly based off 1 or 2 games where stats have gone "wrong" in their opinion.

the game overall seems to change "a lot" from game to game, which is a good thing , its kind of like a box of chocolates, lol, its almost as though some hidden attributes change for each game or some sort of fuzzy logic is built in to make each game an unique experience.

                  Also cannot find:
                  Pitch Control: -4
                  Pitch Movement: +6
                  Strike %: -4
Foul Tip %: -8 (Not convinced it works)
                  Base running Speed: -2

Seriously, am I playing another game or was this just a bad translation?

Do you have to adjust this every time you play a game??!?!?

No, once it is saved, all you have to do is load that slider set when you first start the game from the main menu screen.

Nem, the following adjustments (from JoeC primarily) have made this set very competitve. I have lost 3 games in a row, and I think I am done with the adjusting for now.

*Maxed Out CPU Hit Qualtiy as per usual
                            *Pitch Speed +7 (17)
*I no longer take leads on the base paths. (makes you think twice about stealing)
                            *Human Hit Quality (-10)
                            *Human Power (+1)
                            *Human Timing Window (+4)
                            *CPU Power (+2)
                            *CPU Pitching Aggression (-10)

If anyone wants to try them I am going to put them on Sports Connect as"Puresim Final Set" Thanks again Nem.

What is the option of seeing the strikezone appear AFTER a pitch has been thrown - when the ball is being thrown back to you by the catcher?

Should I have this turned off?
